Bought the OPPO F1 PLUS (OF1+) 5 days ago as a replacement to my trusty old SAMSUNG DUOS which had developed some display issues and gotten way too slow for the apps I need to run now.
My OF1+ is the "Gold" handset (I wish it had a black option, for me the "gold" is way to dressy and I expect it will show the blemishes much easier than with a darker colour) and has 4GB internal RAM, 64GB Memory with an additional 128GB of external plug-in memory.
I like the touch and feel of it, but am always afraid that I may break it.
I have put a TEMPERED SCREEN PROTECTOR and am awaiting to get a sturdy case like an OTTER case for it.
Because the screen is curved, the screen protectors don't cover the entire display. They only work on the top, flat surface of the display. By the time the display protector industry manufacturers one for the curved displays, I will probably need to replace this one. The display protector already has a crack, probably from where I sat down with the OF1+ in the back pocket of my jeans. In any event, I would much rather replace the protective cover than the display glass itself. So paisa vasool already!
The OF1+ feels like a iPhone 6 but bigger and much much faster and has the Android OS. As an old iOS user, I feel like I have the best of both worlds now.
I use an app called ROCKET PLAYER to access the music I had on Apple iTunes. And I use BEYONDPOD to keep up with the Apple Podcasts I have gotten used to having with me.
Once again the OF1+ performed better than I expected.
The selfie camera works well. I wouldn't use it for long distance photographs, though. After all "selfie" Pix typically are pic taken within 2 metres of one's self and this does really well.
I like the primary camera, but find it's a bit show in the autofocus department. There is a lag between "clicking" and taking the picture and when the camera actually takes it. As my object was moving, I will play with the camera options and report back, unless someone else does it first.
I also have WHATSAPP installed (like most people on this planet!). Here I have encountered an issue. I'm not certain whether it is an OF1+ or a WhatsApp issue.
When I exit and close down WhatsApp, the app disappears, like it's supposed to. But when I (swipe down) check the running processes' statuses, all my other apps that I exited and closed down remain closed. All except WhatsApp. What's worse is that it still shows me "online" in the WhatsApp status line, when I'm clearly not.
Another niggle, is that there is no reboot function, like the other Android phones in this price range.
One needs to power down by pushing the power button and sliding the "power down" option. And then power up the phone (hard boot). This is a nuisance particarly as I have needed to do that numerous times a day, after checking my WhatsApp messages to be completely out of it, for my appointments, meetings and simply getting my work done.
This is it for now and more observations to come later. I need to get back to getting my "paid work" done.

I bought oppo F1 plus....i like it....because I can download all the applications i want without worrying my stored memory because it has 64 gb which is so good... I already tried iphone 3, 4, 5 and ipad mini before...there were good but we really need to be extra careful in handling the phone because the screen or lcd is so sensitive :=( when broken...better not repair it coz youre just wasting your money... I already tried galaxy grand neo and samsung j5... also good but the downside is..it has only 8 gb internal memory.... and now recently, i bought oppo f1 plus...so far,...the performance is soo good....fast charging and wide screen.... and it has 64 gb internal memory ;=) im still observing and testing the total performance of this phone....hoping this is the one I'm looking for....

For the price of INR 27K Oppo F1 Plus is the worst phone their is. Oppo is extremely greedy with f1 plus to make money, in reality it had a hardware of a INR 13K phone.

To know which smartphone is better it's simple check specifications the first. Secondly have a look design you like. I used to use Samsungs, HTCs and now i am Oppo fan. I like design - thinner than Samsung S7(S7 edge), ligher as well than other top smartphones at the banch at the moment. 64GB 4 GB Ram. What else??? pretty enough to be the best. Take a look last news on a market nowadays. 153% increasing sales for 6 months 2016. it beats Samsung and Iphone as HTC10 as well at the moment. Oppo R9 or F1 plus is one of the best. More over: comes with cover, screen protector applied already, security protection installed. What you need more...... One problem - name, which is not well known at the moment.
