AnonD-536896, 16 May 2016“Mobile Appraisal” The glass mainly matters for the people... moreIf display protection was your top priority, you could have better vouched for Meizu M3 Note. It has Dinorex T2X-1 scratch/shock resistant glass similar to Corning Gorilla glass of Oppo F1 Plus. Both comes with same pesky MediaTek P10 chipsets and have identical 5.5 inch 1080p screen size. Both comes with metal uni-body design.

F1 Plus has 1GB more RAM, but M3 Note compensates that with a humongous 4100mAh battery while F1 Plus have just 2850mAh. Both comes pre-installed with Android Lollipop out of the box. Both Oppo and Meizu are renowned Chinese smartphone manufacturers.

The icing on the cake is while Oppo F1 Plus cost a whopping INR 27K, Meizu M3 Note is available at a sensible INR 10K.

          “Mobile Appraisal”
The glass mainly matters for the people like me. The phone is really very nice but if there is no toughen glass then it is really hard to purchase the phone. When I was in search of good phone I had seen Oppo F1 plus and Vivo v3 max but the gorilla glass of Oppo F1 plus let me go for it. Though the vivo has got good glass.

actually OPPO and VIVO is same father company.

ralph, 16 May 2016maybe you are a vivo fan or you are from vivo company thats... moreOfcource you have the right to think anything about anyone... no one is stopping you from doing that.

Personally I buy smartphones based on objective analysis rather than just being a fan of any one manufacturer. By following this route I have often ended up buying better phones for the price. I had the F1 Plus as a gift and those where my honest opinions. You may not like it, but I can do little to make you happy.

Maybe an Oppo fanboy will make you happy. :)

This is my opinion about oppo f1 plus after using it for nine days. I am not going through the common issue like "not getting notifications" (if your app is closed), but there is some issues you just cant ignore. lets get to the point.

the phone itself is good, there is no question about it. but i have some complain about color os 3.

                  1. it misses some signature gestures of oppo like "finger slide to volume control", "double tap home" to lock screen. these gestures included in color os 2.XX. the home button is touch responsive. so they may could integrate it.

                  2. games getting closed and mobile network disappear while playing games (occasionally).

                  3. this morning i found out that the phone is 6 hours delayed. it happened twice this morning even after i turn off and on "automatically set time"

clearly these are some issues of color os3. bcoz these did not happened on oppo mirror 5. its running fine. may an update will will fix the problem but im pretty much upset.

Flash charging is really fast, i mean in an hour you can have 100% from 10% battery. 4 gig ram really satisfy my gaming experience, no overheat issue since 3 weeks using this phone. Happy customer!

The 16 MP front selfie camera is all HYPE and take very poor quality pictures. The photos taken seriously lacks in detail and appears completely washed out in PC. The rear 13MP camera is just OK considering its sky high price. After reading the GSMArena review I find they also in line to my views.

I watched the uploaded videos taken by both V3Max & F1 Plus main cameras. Oppo has no advantage over Vivo here, both producing passable video quality.

We do not buy an Oppo F1 Plus costing a hooping INR 27K just for the camera. We would have bought a dedicated camera for that. There are other things to consider as well in a good smartphone.

The V3Max have much better audio quality. The sound quality is so good, it will blow the F1 Plus out of the windows in terms of sound quality. So music lovers will definitely vouch for V3Max.

The Android overlay in Vivo, Funtouch OS provides a more seamless and intuitive experience to me than the Color OS of Oppo.

F1 Plus comes with this crappy MediaTek P10 chipset which is a shame for its price. V3Max have way powerful Snapdragon 652 chipset and will definitely have an edge while playing intensive games. So gamers will opt for Vivo.

V3Max is a more value for money product in comparison to F1 Plus. Both have very good build quality. V3Max is available at INR 24K where as F1Plus comes at a crazy unjustified price of INR 27K.

At the end both the brands are owned by BBK Electronics of China, and represents the two sides of the same coin. Oppo is targeted to be camera centric while Vivo is targeted to be audio centric.

The biggest shame in F1 Plus is it miserably failed in the "selfie" camera department and have comes with a cheap P10 chipset. It was gifted to me or else if Oppo had offered me this unit at one third the price at which it currently retails in India I would have refused. It is a totally worthless phone according to my own opinion.

                                “Beautiful”
Te camera is well known for the Oppo phones as it gives features like auto rotation and HD effects. The problem with the comparison here lies that phones do have special effects. It’s really awesome to have camera that focuses on your face. This effect is not found in vivo v3 max though the camera has 13 megapixel effects.

AnonD-536896, 13 May 2016“Flexible” When I went to the store to purchase the phone ... moreAt first you should know both Vivo & Oppo belongs to BBK Electronics of China. Secondly the Vivo V3Max is a much better phone than Oppo F1 Plus. V3Max comes with a way powerful snapdragon 652 chipset than the crappy MediaTek P10 of F1Plus. And comparing the two Vivo has price d the phone more realistically than the Oppo. So personally I believe you have made a wrong choice by biasing your view just o internal memory and nothing else!!!

When I went to the store to purchase the phone I was totally confused with all the features and the body of the pphone. I could see same features all over but mostly my confusion was about Oppo F1 plus and Vivo V3 max but when I saw that Oppo is giving me 64 gb internal space and vivo is giving me 32 gb then I went for Oppo. My choice is always perfect.
