Apple said it for years. Now they've FINALLY caught up to "new" technology and all their phones from here on out will have amoled screens. Same with LG. They have said repeatedly how "natural colors" (washed out) look better, until recently - they only now have amoled capabilities so ALL of their flagships will have amoled screens from here on out (V30 for example). The ONLY reason all new televisions aren't YET amoled is because it's STILL too new and expensive to have amoleds of such a large size for them to be mainstream YET. Amoled devices offer options for more "natural" (ugly) color profiles for people stuck in the 90's, whereas on LCD screens no possibility exists for bright, vivid, well-saturated screens. Blacks look grey and whites look blue. Crap. Apple's screen on the X is the first color-perfected screen on any device EVER and it's amoled. Its colors are 100% accurate and nobody can argue that fact. Basically every high-end flagship device out right now with any respect has an amoled screen. To not include one is like having a giant bezel in 2017 and your company is immediately crap.

Ric, 26 Nov 2017Don't buy oopo f5 ,it's fb app is not working properly. That's not the fault of the hardware; look at the Android APP. Who cares about F'Book anyway? It's just spyware.

I have oppo f3. It is on marshmallow n have all features. I dont regret using marshmallow. I like their built quality, camera, screen, battery. Thats what matters and thatswhy I buy their phones. I wl change my nxt phone to f3 plus. Instead of paying to google, they facilitate their
customers. Google gives minor changes in os n creat hipes, themting people to buy new phones. Samsung, huawei or any others phones suppliers are with them to make fool out of people. Suppose they announce that their future android wl run on min 6gb ram. What wl b result. Most of the fools wl follow the suit. I wl well come upgrades of android but not at high cost.

You can ask your friend who have oppo phone. If they are concern with OS update, they will buy oneplus or maybe pixel.
