Such a shame Oppo missed the opportunity to put BASIC features like a headphone jack and expandable storage in this.
The size is perfect and it's the closest foldable to justify not being a gimmick. But without such basic things, I don't see how anyone could consider this a productivity device with a straight face.
No. Neither expandable storage nor the headphone jack have a better replacement. Clouds, dongles and wireless aren't superior solutions.

The Note 20 Ultra 45.9in sq (116.7cm sq). Z Flip 3 is 39.9in sq (101.5cm sq). The Find N's inner display has MUCH more screen real estate than both the Note 20 Ultra AND the Z Flip 3.

[deleted post]I can't tell did you make a sarcastic comment or not, but it's more about what CPU it is. For example, the Snapdragon 870 has a 3.2ghz CPU, but it is still just Cortex-A77, while Snapdragon 888 has a 2.84ghz CPU but it takes the advantage of using Cortex-X1 so it's still better and faster.

What could you expect? They spent the whole 2021 trying to make this phone. You can't just make a phone for a whole year then suddenly change the spec, that would interupt the whole manufacturing chain. Moreover, the Snapdragon 8Gen 1, while it is great, it is still not optimised, putting it in such a phone like this will do nothing but might worsening the experience, and the 888 is still plenty fast.

I'm happy with my z fold3 .. samsung software is better.. olso the screens amoled vs d a 2x .. here outside screen 120hz and bigger screens.. here olso UDC .. lighter and thinner.. olso the speakers in oppo are stupid both of then in the bottom.. both display brightness in fold are more.. 12 ram vs 8 .. selfie camera in oppo 1080 video only .. I can't remember all things but I think it's not that mobile every one dream

Add more to usage if you put movies on your phone and some apps like Youtube or Netflix that lets you download offline videos. Video games also are getting bigger and bigger.

I live in Alaska, and the remote villages don't have great internet and it's really expensive. If one already has a library of ripped movies and CDs, having extra storage is a great option to have. Besides, why does an optional feature have to be so offensive?

Biggest advantage to me is that my photos/videos/music follow me phone to phone with zero hassle. It also severely decreases the risk of data loss. If you drop your phone in the toilet or the software craps out, all of your most important data is right there on the card which is still ok. Sure, cloud backups are nice, but not as seamless.
