Oppo Find N5 super thin body showcased once again
Oppo is releasing the Find N5 in February, and a product manager at the company shared more photos of the foldable, this time demonstrating its thin profile next to an iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The unfolded device is as thick as two CNY1 coins stacked on top of each other, meaning it is about 3.7 mm. This means it will be just the second smartphone in the world, foldable or not, to go lower than the 4 mm threshold (the first was the Mate XT Ultimate tri-fold).
The phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite, and the device with model number PKH110 was spotted on Geekbench. Its results are in line with other flagships running on the latest Qualcomm chip, but the listing revealed something interesting.
The CPU in the Find N5 will have only seven cores - 2x4.32 GHz Oryon V2 Phoenix L + 5x3.53 GHz Oryon V2 Phoenix M. We recently found out Qualcomm is shipping such units to whoever is willing to purchase them and it seems like Oppo is one of the clients.
The phone also appeared in a leaked hands-on photo, sitting next to a Find N3 in Red, suggesting we might have three cameras and an LED flash lined up in a square formation on a circular island.
The big question is whether Oppo will launch the Find N5 globally, either under the OnePlus brand or as its own phone. We'll know more when the launch arrives, which should be soon.
