Oppo Find X2 Pro specs sheet leaks once again

Victor, 29 February 2020

As we are nearing the scheduled March 6 unveiling date for the Oppo Find X2 pair of phones, the leaks and rumors are starting to align a bit better. Sadly, we can't necessarily pinpoint the exact differences between the CPH2020 vanilla Find X2 and its CPH2025 FInd X2 Pro sibling. If rumors are to be believed, the pair seem to look very similar and are even likely to share most spotlight features, to some extent - like the 120Hz refresh rate.

Today brings yet another nifty summary and re-iteration of the main specs of the top-tier Find X2 Pro. Like many sources have already mentioned before, the displays on the Find X2 pair are going to be a sight to behold. Apparently the Pro will be rocking a 6.7-inch, QHD unit, with a native 120Hz refresh rate and likely 240Hz touch-sampling rate. The panel on the Pro, courtesy of Samsung, will also, apparently, be capable of 120Hz at its native QHD resolution. Worth noting, considering event the S20 Ultra can only go up to FullHD@120Hz out-of-the-box.

Speaking of the Find X2 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S20 family, this new specs leak only mentions FullHD video capture at 120fps. No word on 4K and 8K capabilities. Though, considering that the Find X2 Pro uses the same Snapdragon 865 chipset, we can only assume 8K is still capped at 24fps. Speaking of the camera, the Find X2 Pro will be rocking a pair of 48MP snappers, with the Sony IMX689 sensor expected to power the main camera and the IMX586 on its ultrawide sibling. Finally, there is the 13MP Samsung S5K3M5 ISOCELL snapper, expected to deliver 5x hybrid zoom, via a periscope module. On the front - a 32MP selfie unit. Sadly, sitting in a punch hole, instead of a fancy motorized setup, like on the original Oppo Find X.

The quoted specs also mention a 4,260 mAh battery, with 65W super fast charging. These numbers have been tossed-about in the past as well. Also part of the mix - IP68 ingress protection rating, a dual speaker setup and an "X-axis linear motor", which likely refers to an advanced haptic vibration engine.
