Hi guys,
To those that have this phone, just bought myself one after having the non pro version for over an half an year. The phone is grat and all but i experience extensive heat generation while using the camera. Does not matter if it is photo or video, it goes to 43 degrees celcius (the non pro version with SD888 goes only to 37 and the difference is huge). Could anyone please give some feedback on their devices? i still have a week to return it.

First o... moreHey yeah idk if you're still on this thread but yes i was exporting to premiere pro and its absolute garbage i have like 20 hours of footage that Ive been editting over multiple days and the export was terrible. I ended up finding online that the only way to fix this was to encode again through free software called shutter encoder.

I've noticed that Chinese companies (except Xiaomi) are pretty generous, they even put case with headphone in complect, they really care about their customers)

the prince for second hand for this phone is roughly the same with vivo x80 ( 100 us dollar more), i think this is a good deal but the small width screen is a turn off for me
compared to predecessor :
marisilicon isp chip
5 axis main camera
better cooling and temp performance balancing the 8 gen 1 chip
better battery life and fast charging speed
battery life span at 1600 cycle is around 4-5 years
batter front camera with wider angle
the main upgrade is camera and battery from find x3 pro

Great battery, I can get 8 - 10 hours of SOT but take note I'm not a heavy user. All is smooth and snappy. I did not experience any overheating issue. However, in the camera performance. I think samsung is still better specially on the front camera but for my needs it is enough.

P.s. I also can recommend you 1+10 Pro (or just wait for 11 Pro), Vivo x80 Pro, I'd recommend you Xperia 1 IV, but I think it's too expensive!

I saw a number of YouTubers saying that fast charging is harmful to the battery, claiming that companies now want the customer who changes his phone every year, meaning that the life span of the phone and the battery is a year at most, and ultra-fast charging 60 W or120 W is enough to perform the task! Now Chargers are much bigger and manufactured to take heat by brick not by phone. In comparison My OnePlus 8T with 65W charging have less battery heath loss than my secound phone the iPhone 12 (20W charging).

Oppo fix the horrible Whatapp issues like no notification sounds at times, the terrible video uploads that are not smooth or even correctly sized when viewing. If Oppo wants to be taken seriously outside China this should have been fixed by now.
