In the S22U, the 5x and 10x optical zooms are quite underpower with bad software optimization. In the S23U, it's better, but still find hard time to capture 5x or 10x zoom in low light condition. In those cases, X6 pro or x90P+ are better all the time. In day time, the optical zoom on S23U is good, but if you put those digital zoom photos from x6 pro or x90P+ then I bet you spot out too much difference from them.

LOL It's not subjective but a real world comparison based on pics and videos, shown in that comparison made in the same scenarios at the same time with 4 different phones FFS if you don't like the result okay but don't say it's a subjective opinion made by a Youtuber, as you can get your own opinion by looking at all of these samples. They show photos and videos so just make your own opinion like I did.

      There are many more but that one is the best as they've faced 4 of the best smartphones, the Samsung won in that one so what? Does that make the Vivo X90 Pro+ bad? NO. Like I have said before, buy whatever you want and what makes you happy but a phone with no global version and only chinese OS just like Vivo X90 Pro+ or this Oppo Find X6 Pro (no Android Auto, no Google Pay and many languages are missing plus updates are really late) that's kinda unuseful if you live in USA or in Europe like I do. That's a big no-no con for me.

      But if the software issue is okay for you and you don't mind also other things (for me any optical zoom under x5 is a no-no just as it's 32mpx 1080p selfie as well) then buy whatever you want and makes you happier, for example the Oppo Find X6 Pro has a much better UW camera, I don't use that sensor almost never but in exchange I use a lot of 10-30x zoom in landscapes and a lot of 4K main video. Maybe you do the opposite, then buy the one that fits better your preferences. It's 2023 all flagships are good and there is no absolute king. Peace!

You can search other youtubers or any forums and see S23U camera is just the same as S22U last year, even worse in some scenarios. Most of the comparisons on youtube, X90P+ wins against other phone like Ip14promax, S23U, Mate 50 pro, even xiaomi 12SU. I just said the truth that the camera quality on the S23U is just normal, nothing outstanding. X90P+ is not the best in some categories, but for portrait photos, daylight photos as well as exceptional night photos, you cannot deny it anywhere. I didn't say the camera of the S23U is bad, just because it's too general, even too wasted out compared to the photos from S22U (S23U users on XDA confirmed, there is a topic there). The only thing it has is x10 zoom, and the number of time I used it on my S22U over a year until now is maybe less than 10 times. It's fun and can be show off, but not very practical in real life. However, I'm really impressed by the super battery it has. That's how other android brands should make their phones. Kudos to samsung for that big improvement.

              Dethroned by 1080/30 vs 4K/60HDR+ selfie, by 2.8x vs 10x optical zoom, by the bulkiest and ugliest design ever seen on a phone or by the cr4ppy chinese version of Color OS this Oppo has? Even global Color OS is tr4sh so imagine the one made for that country that doesn't even have Android Auto or Google Pay lolol dethroned hahaha cry more my child.

              Don't forget Dxomark where all Oppo Find X series have been getting ridiculous scores over the past 4 years, the 1000€ Oppo Find X5 ranks 74th hahaha not bad to be under 3-4 year old midrange phones huh? You make it too easy.

                Does the Oppo Find X6 Pro have a screen recorder, and if it does, does it screen record video chat calls with sound? The Xiaomi Redmi K50 Pro has a built-in screen recorder but refuses to record any video chat calls with sound.

                    Btw let's check the video. And let's make conclusions: Vivo's colors are just so ultra saturated they look they've been washed with Instagram filters. Vivo's Dynamic Range is still laugheable. So is the overexposure, overblown pics, poor selfie, lame video record and lamest video stabilization and so on... real life comparisons make the deal, not empty words on GSMArena!!! This is PROVEN by comparisons. Period.

                    PS. And that just sticking to camera, as in the other aspects... the S23 Ultra crushes even more this Vivo and all chinese phones in general. It's just behind in charging speed.

Maybe just to show off in 1 or 2 mins then no one cares about it anymore. I just got X90P+ and I would say its camera is way better than S22U, even in x5 or x10 zoom. Why? Because Vivo software is doing its job better than Samsung although S22U has x10 optical zoom. Color and sharpness are also better for Vivo. The new S23U camera is even worse than S22U in some aspects, then X90P+ wins again. Don't believe? Just search any youtube channels or read any reviews between those camera then you will know why. The only problem I have with the X90P+ is the battery draining and hopefully it can be fixed in the future. The Find X6 Pro is even better than X90P+, then you don't need to compare anything else here. A Win for X6 Pro.

                          No it doesn't. Stop lying maybe. Samdung's zoom, which you call "flagship" fails hard in low light. Also good luck to you if you expect decent results when taking photos in the 3.5x-9.9x zoom range (you know, range that people actually use most of the time). Just because your Samdung can zoom farther doesn't mean it's better. Get it, mr fanboy?

                                My 8 year old, 2015 Nexus 5 has 1080p 30fps selfie, this Oppo doesn't go above 1080p 30fps selfie neither in 2023 while other brands like Samsung or Apple go 4K 60fps HDR+ so even if it was global for 700$ I wouldn't buy this cr4p as unless if you're a freak loner, you will have to use selfie camera many times. They're just laughing at their customers.

                                Fanboys you can cry but it's true and if you defend a 1080/30 "flagship" in 2023 you're out of your mind.

                                  I have the S20 ultra and decided that I don't want a S23 ultra for 1. I will not use the pen 2 . I don't like square corners 3. I do not want a note ....so I've looked at all phones out now and coming soon and have decided to get the honor 5 magic pro when I upgrade in a few weeks when I can pre order the honor magic 5 pro
                                  from April 19th in black UK 🙂 you also get a case , charger and a screen protector in the box with the phone and the phone will be cheaper than the S23 ultra. The 2 phones I looked at were oppo find 6x pro and Honor magic 5 pro
                                  As the Oppo Find X6 Pro might not come to the UK I'm getting the Honour 5 magic pro instead

Oppo Find X2 Pro, X3 Pro and X5 Pro have been sold in Europe and literally no one bought them except for very few and while on GSMArena we could see the same comments saying it's the best, just as right now (obviously made by Oppo/China fanboys) reality shows us that the Find X series have been such a disaster in sales (especially X5 series) outside of China that Oppo decided not to sell it overseas. Despite them paying dozens of millions in marketing and ads even in big football events.

                                        Attention, reality dose comment and 0% hater 100% unbiased comment right here. If you're just a blind Oppo fanboy then downvote and continue your journey to delusional's world where Oppo is the best in the universe and where you sleep happily with this alternative fact. If you're not, then continue reading and use rationale. I know there will be 3-4 GSMA users like no... de... hu... that will just rage downvote but idk so we're going directly to some facts.

                                        Oppo has been failing in Dxomark's tests for years, the 2022 Find X5 ranks 74th and the X5 Pro ranks 30th so it got very very far even from the top 10 rank. That's just ridiculous 1st given their price and 2nd and most importantly because of the specs Oppo was bragging and basking about and it seems this year it's the same as it has already happened for 4 years in a row. This would be the 5th year but lets give them a slight chance.

                                        The Samsung S23 Ultra is better. Why? Because it's quite a bit more complete and useful in overall specs, the software and the software support (updates) are much better, the whole camera pack is better as well as it got the best selfie camera vs this Oppo's ludicrous 1080 selfie, it has got a proper flagship zoom vs this Oppo's non-flagship 2,8x optical and 6x hybrid vs 10x optical and 30x hybrid so let's be honest here.

                                        There are many comparisons already and the Oppo is sometimes better in camera (but not always and not as much as expected given the written specs, exactly as it happened with X2, X3 and X5 Pro compared to S20, S21 and S22 Ultra) for main camera it's a tie when it comes to photos, for night pics Oppo, for videos Samsung, for UW camera Oppo, for zoom Samsung and for selfie Samsung and that's right now without counting future updates. Oppo hasn't got no S-Pen nor DeX nor UWB and so on... this phone lacks behind the S23 Ultra. Yet it's better than Xiaomi 13 Pro, Honor Magic 5 Pro or Vivo X90 Pro+ without any doubt.
