Pricing better than equivalents from Xiaomi, Vivo, Huawei, Samsung, Apple, Sony. A Find X7 in a 16GB+1TB configuration for RMB 4,300 (about US$590/Euro 550) is a deal, but you have to buy it in China or deal with importer fees and third party servicing. Manufacturers choosing feature sets is a balancing act between market research, engineering, parts sourcing and will be driven by dynamic pricing considerations. The Find X series is targeted toward the Chinese consumer and no one else. Next year it might be different as they are discussing a global version. If the combination of features appeals for the prices asked, you are free to buy. If not, you are free to choose something else or buy nothing at all.

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2024Bro is it on 4k or 1080??4K, 60 fps, up to 16X zoom are available and easily selectable on the Oppo Find X7 in both portrait and horizontal photos and videos. Other features include macro, night, panoramic, slo-mo, time-lapse, long exposure, AI ID photo, text scanner and panorama modes. Adjustable f-stop aperture control F1.4 - F16 with automated bokeh modes, HDR, 28mm, 35mm, 85mm normal/tele lens and 23mm, 28mm, 35mm wide-angle focal lengths. The phone also has tons of additional features including focus lock, HEIF and HEVC high efficiency photo and video file coding to preserve storage space, QR code scanning, portrait edge distortion correction, and multiple filters. These are just what comes from the Find X7 hardware + Oppo's own included photo/video app. You can certainly find third party apps that might extend this already high level of functionality. Continuing Oppo OS updates have significantly enhanced both the feature sets (too numerous to list here) and (already problem free) stability of the standard apps installed on the phone.

Google Play is installed as normal apk here. It means that Google services here aren't system services. So they will not work properly.

Oppo Find X7 16/1TB
past 3 months having this phone, really nice. Battery backup very good heavy user 1 day maximum. also fast change support so no worries. My Previous phone is Oppo Find X2 Pro. compare that phone so many camera options not available. i can use video zoom 30x my Old x2 pro. but X7 can until 18x. display screen and camera 4k good.
i found one issue with google maps. after i using this phone my google map history timeline not showing any history. still my google device shows my old phone. removed multiple times, also not showing my new X7 on the list. so past 3 months no timeline data on my google maps. might be chinese version wont show dono.. anyone facing this issue.. please reply

I did a quick search for third party testing of screen protectors and though there are plenty of aftermarket options tested couldn't find one that included manufacturer pre-installed films.

I know some folks keep them on till they start to scratch up or delaminate from the phone screen but haven't heard of anyone looking for one as a preferred OEM replacement.
