Picked up the Find X7 about three weeks ago in China and have really been impressed with daily use. Spend 70% of my time in China, the rest mainly in Europe. Needed a phone with Band 20 and this was certainly a relative deal. There is a cloning app that lets you take your old phone data and apps and moves them to the Find X7, took about 15 minutes. Did need to clear off some of the installed bloatware like the kid and game apps that I won't use. LOTS of convenience apps for China users, took me well over an hour to go through all of the installed apps trying to figure out what I would keep. Each app has a detailed description of what info and phone features it will use. Oppo is really moving heavily into the AI space and usage predictive features with their Breeno app and others, but basically you are letting Oppo and app companies get all of your personal and usage info to take advantage of them. The phone does have multiple language options but I defaulted to English and translator apps take care of the rest. I don't need the extra telephoto camera you get with the more expensive Ultra and the Dimensity 9300 CPU runs every app I have smoothly, the phone stays cool even with a case. Taking photos is simply great, night/low light photography highly impressive. The AndesGPT app lets you clean up photos but you do need one of the 16GB RAM versions to do these functions on the phone rather than online. The pricing differential for the increased RAM and storage tiers are reasonable, highly recommend going for the most you can budget for. Have already received a number of OTA updates with added features as well as minor bug fixes... easy. No functional problems at all, charging as advertising, getting 5G service and am in an area that will have 5G-A, looking forward to seeing how that works out. Only negatives for me are that the phone is larger than I would ideally like and somewhat heavy, but the options of a smaller phone that can even come close to matching the capabilities of the Find X7 are certainly limited these days.

Sometimes I feel like Samsung is paying these Chinese companies off so they don't bring these products to Europe, because if they did and priced like this it would be over.

So the ultra version has 4 camera setup, this one has three, so what happens to the bottom ((camera)) lens with the white thingy? Did they stuff some tissue in there something ? Is it a sensor of some sort or just nothing? Excuse my lack of knowledge.

[deleted post]Dude how do you even know the red lines appeared because of the curved screen 🤦 They most certainly appeared because of a display issue, not because of the curved screens. The curved screens are more shatter-prone, more expensive to replace and harder (and pricier) to install screen protectors, but it won't just miraculously make red lines appear on the display. It makes no sense
