Big battery, fast charging, quad 50MP cam setup with 1" main and two periscopes, excellent bright LTPO display, latest chipset..... We're reaching peak smartphone level. How much better can it get?

Someones Dad, 02 Jan 2024Is that an alert slider?Seems like it; That button has leeway both up and down and isn't placed correctly to be a shutter key.

Snapdragon8, 01 Jan 20248k to me seems like an overkill We may have reached a point where 4K is just enough. I don't know if 8K is actually needed. How big of a TV can average people fit in their rooms? And is 4K not enough for that?

I would much rather have a mode on smartphones where a 4K footage is captured and then downsampled to 1080p, giving you a crisp 4K look in a smaller size. I would like a really nice looking and smooth 1080p.

Ivn, 05 Jan 2024I want this phone. I hope there is a global release. https://tradingshenzhen.com/en/

Hopefully they let me post links in here.
            Well, will see.
            But here, you are welcome.

There's also a site called trading shenzhen that tells you if a Chinese phone is compatible with your country/operators bands

They just post info that they could get - but maybe some of you tech geeks knows something more so that's why I asked you if someone knows how is with B20 band that's all. I'm sure GSM Arena doesn't have more info - if they did they would refresh phone info, right?
                            Tnx for suggestion anyway.

Is there any posibility to see which bands are actually supported? Maybe any other page has more details in this area? 🤷‍♂️

Just because a gaming phone 5 years ago could do 8k doesnt mesn it was any good, also huawei and iphone have the best recording capabilities and neither do 8k. I'd take HDR recording capabilties with different slo mo rates than 8k any day (I'd actually love 4k 1920fps recording or even 1080p at 3840fps/7680fps, my p40 pro did beautiful 720p super slo mo vids, made my iPhone and s20u mates very very jelous.
