      The fact that the Oppo has bigger battery doesn't mean its battery lasts longer than the Xiaomi.

      Don't use Xiaomi 14 as the yardstick cos the 15 is miles upgrade of the 14.

        Hi friends
        I tested the camera of this mobile phone in nature for the second time... Unfortunately, the image processing algorithm is too saturated, The level of detail and focusing in the wide lens is poor and the same when the light is high in nature, Macro photography is also constantly confusing and weak, The video recording mode is not so good because it does not have a high frame rate, I think Oppo is thinking of a good software update in the future, otherwise this camera is not suitable for nature at all...!

          I can enable a sound when the call starts and when the call ends, which is very useful especially when using earbuds for calls.

              Why I chose Oppo find X8:
              1. X-15 is a compact screen phone but Oppo X8 is in the middle, nor too small nor to big. Good for gaming.
              2. Default dialer in X-15 is google dialer which doesn't support call recording. A big no for me.
              3. Big battery than X-15.
              4. Runs cooler than X15, controlled temps.
              5. Better Photography.
              6. 5 year Android OS updates till Android 20. X-15 would receive till Andoid 19.
              7. Better Timely software updates than X-15.

              Xiaomi 15 Advantages:
              1. High scored Processor... though you won't find the difference in daily usage.
              2. Higher 512 GB storage compared to 256 GB in Oppo.
              3. LPTO Screen Refresh
              4. 8k video recording.

              Both HyperOS and Color OS UIs are good.

                  Give me feedback between Find x8 or regular xiaomi 15? I need OS/UI comfort, gaming performance, 8k video recording. I heard many rumors about Find x8 while I am tired of hyperOS it drives me crazy

                    I spend a lot of time making/receiving calls through my earbuds and it is important to me to have a sound feedback, especially when I'm driving.

                      my bad. i thought you wanted to record calls w/o notifiing the other party, therefore suggested the Odialer app as an alternate to the default Google dialer.

                      I could not locate any Sound/Volume settings within the OS where it beeps when answering /ending the call.

                      However, there is an option of "Vibrate when your calls are answered/ended" in Call settings.

                        It sounds so strange to me that the default app is not doing that: whats the point of using Bluetooth earbuds if you don't get any audio feedback for call start/end?

                              In settings you can choose between the Power Menu (full off or restart and an option for emergency call) or to have it open Google Assistant.

                              Is it possible to customize which app to open by that long press?

                              No, see above only options.

                              Yes, both of those are an option for double tap. There are also other options for what happens with a double tap.

                                    Hello friends
                                    I have been buying this mobile for a while Apart from the camera, I am satisfied with the rest of the parts. The camera uses intelligent processing in low light conditions, which is sometimes not very interesting. Macro photography is also not accurate and clear. Outdoor photography is also not very good. The telephoto image stabilization is not good when zooming. I think Oppo should fix these problems with future updates.

                                      Often I have many notifications for the same app, eg. WhatsApp conversations.
                                      I would like the notifications to disappear when I open the (WhatsApp) main page; the same when I tap one of the WhatsApp notifications.
                                      While for other apps (calendar reminders) I want each single event notification to remain in the drop-down notifications list until when I tap each of them.
