Hi, how do the multiple notifications work on Oppo with ColorOS 15?
For apps like Gmail, WhatsApp etc. when receiving many messages from different people.
Just need to check how they compare with Samsung and Pixel as never had a Oppo phone.
Curious to know if they are merged in just one notification per app, that can eventually be expanded to see all notifications from that app, or not, or if we can choose such setting.
And, when the notifications are merged, what happens when you tap on the name of the app: if it opens the main app page and if the notifications keep staying there as unread or disappear.
Thank you

But I stopped buying it due to the lack of protection of the vivo screen, of course, I did not like the protrusion of the lens and the fact that it is completely glass in all colors. I should also say that there is no detailed review of Xiaomi 15 I don't think it has a suitable camera considering the repetition of the same sensors and unattractive cooperation with leica

Indeciso, 23 Feb 2025Does Oppo allow to access the notifications by swiping down... moreYes. You can swipe down from the left half for noti and right half for control center at home screen, or use classic mode with both controls / notification in one screen which can also be brought by swiping down anywhere at home screen.

Does Oppo allow to access the notifications by swiping down from the middle of the screen, so not needing to start the swipe from the top of the screen?
This is something nice that both Samsung and Pixel have but I'm not sure if Oppo does have this option in their settings.
I hope someone can help me.
Thanks

I bought the china rom version of this phone. 16GB + 512GB version. Been using it for around 3 weeks now.
Pros
1. Excellent camera setup - the telephoto camera seems to be very competent. Main camera is okay, but still much better than my old redmi note. The point is that its flagship level.
2. Animation - the ColorOS animations are just significantly better than MIUI or HyperOS. The default UI is pretty good too. Absolutely lag/stutter free, buttery smooth through 10+ apps multitasking. If there's one thing to nitpick it might look too much iphone-ish for some.
3. General Hardware - display is bright, speakers are loud, battery lasts about 1.5 days (for some reason, it seems to drain faster during some time in the day. No idea why. When its not during those times, I can watch 1 hour of youtube for 4% battery usage on wifi). And obviously, the design. Just beautiful.
Unless you are some weirdo who actually care about your phone being 1% better than others, I say its "more than enough."
Cons:
1. CN rom - God damn, theres a lot of things to turn off. Some of the bloats are still in chinese after changing language settings so I had to google how to turn stuff off. Some of them can't even be disabled by adb, so you will need a workaround. A lot of ColorOS features are also china specific, like native delivery tracking feature which only supports chinese apps. Disable all of them and what you have is pretty much barebone. The built in AI engine (breeno) is also chinese only, but I don't really care about AI stuff.
2. VoLTE - You will need to do a good research before buying them if your country does not have oppo. I'm in Korea (republic of Samsung) and oppo never released their phone in here. This meant that I had to change my carrier service provider AND go through manual VoLTE enabling using IMS patching + shizuku. Together with point 1, if you aren't really into these things just get something else.
This is a great all-rounder base model flagship with less corners cut compared to other brands. I'd say one of the best you can get in the price range, when bought at MSRP.
