It's called Silicon Carbon used as anode. Apparently, it has a longer life span and is safer.
It's not new, vivo has used it before and Oneplus is going to use it as well. So it's probably a BBK innovation.

They must've used some very cutting-edge battery tech. It's quite unusual for 5700mah to fit in a 7mm chassis. Si/C? I wonder if they mean silicon carbide. Wow, Oppo's been innovating, good on them.
