Oppo Find X8s and X8s+ bring flaghsip specs in compact bodies
Oppo just unveiled a trio of new Find X8 devices. While the X8 Ultra stands out the most, the brand also introduced the Find X8s and Find X8s+ which are the more affordable models that still pack flagship specs.
Find X8s is the more pocket-friendly offering with its 6.3-inch AMOLED screen (FHD+ 120Hz). Despite the smaller dimensions, it still features a 5,700 mAh silicon carbon battery with support for 80W wired charging, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging.
Find X8s+ offers a 6.59-inch AMOLED (FHD+ 120Hz) and a larger 6,000mAh cell with the same charging speeds as the Find X8s.
Both phones are launching with the brand new Dimensity 9400+ which features an overclocked prime CPU core at 3.73GHz and updated AI features. Both are configurable with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
In terms of cameras, you get a triple setup on both phones with a 50MP main shooter with OIS (24mm), a 50MP ultrawide (15mm) with a 120° field of view. Find X8s gets an 85mm equivalent 50MP telephoto with an f/2.6 aperture and dual-axis OIS, while the Find X8s+ opts for a 73mm equivalent zoom lens with an f/2.8 aperture and dual-axis stabilization.
Both phones boot ColorOS 15.0 based on Android 15 out the box and are IP68/IP69 rated against water and dust. The new phones also support Oppo’s Mag Magnetic Ecosystem which includes battery packs and which attach via a proprietary magnetic phone case.
Oppo Find X8s is available in Hoshino Black, Moonlight White, Island Blue, and Cherry Blossom Pink. Oppo Find X8s+ comes in Hoshino Black, Moonlight White, and Hyacinth Purple
Both phones start at CNY 4,199 ($571) for the 12/256GB trim and top out at CNY 5,499 ($748) for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage version.
Pre-orders are already open in China via Oppo’s official webstore and partnering retailers. First deliveries there are scheduled for April 16. Oppo did not detail any plans for international availability for either of the new Find X8s models.
