Don't worry about OTA update because Oppo N1 officially uses Cyanogenmod, a ROM that updates weekly and always gives the newest version of android quickly.
And their after-sale support is the best one out there, you can even go to their forums asking them to add features, and they really add the features you asked.

Does anyone know what the clock/weather widget is on the homescreen in the main profile picture for this phone?
Is it just the stock one that is exclusive to the Oppo or is it a downloaded one?

I used to live in China, and I was trying to buy smartphone there. I compared some brands and products that seems worth for the spec, price, and also the quality. Well, Oppo has a solid body and strong screen. I also tried Oppo as well. But I didn't buy Oppo because of the price is quite higher than Huawei.
If you are looking reliable and worthy smartphone in China, I would strongly suggest you to buy any between Huawei, Oppo, or Xiaomi (also known as MI).
Finally, I bought Huawei MT1-U06 (Huawei Ascend MATE)2GB RAM Version, which is really a great assistant for my busy life.
