Why is it that the oppo r2001 has 8gb phone memory but the available is less 1GB even I didn't download any apps where is the 7gb memory?

My mobile glass has damage none of the service centre gallery tell the real value of the glass . They are just ignoring customer some are telling price taht rd 4000 some tell 2000 plz do not cheat the customer ........ and plz reply me with real value

I am using oppo yoyo since 6 months.It is malfunctioning.Internet is very slow though there is a facility of switching 3 g to both Sims.In
my region signal strength is not stable. But my Dell tablet is working ok on same network.
