Ville, 06 Dec 2016Over one year from release and no system updates. Still in ... moreagreed. use this phone since 2015, till now no updates on OS. plus the OS is not really compatible with some third party apps available on google play. very frustating. this will be my last overpriced oppo phone.

I've had mine for 9 months, after 1 month problems started, oppo customer care friendly but have not given any real solution to my problems. Sound such as touchpad tones and music playback decides to stop for no reason, charging issues, phone dies then refuses to charge for a day or so. Alerts not reliable, quiet time doesn't work, sound Jack doesn't work at all. If it wasn't for these problems I would love this phone, when it works it does it well, I can't return it as the chain I purchased it from had closed and customer care know this but still say return to place of purchase. I bought oppo mirror 5 for my son 18 months ago and similar issues began about a month ago with his, he's had a decent run but recent issues make it very frustrating. Beware of oppo! they are time bombs some have shorter fuses than others.

Over one year from release and no system updates. Still in kitkat, and no updates in sight. The lack of support from Oppo is outrageous. This is my first and last Oppo phone.

Pls don't buy oppo R7 i used only 11 month after display diming I send too service they asking 6000 thousand to fix I said no after no network pls pls don't buy this mobile waste money

I bought my Oppo R7 last year and I have been using it since and I have to say that it is a damn good phone. Screen, good. Camera, good. Build Quality, good. Audio, good. Only thing I don't like is the Color OS. If I'm using Android software, I want the Android feel, not Apple iOS feel. Other than that, it's a good phone

Same as "May" (9 July 2016) my Oppo went dead overnight after working perfectly until then. Was repaired under warranty. Repair lasted five days then same fault repeated - phone completely dead in morning with no response to buttons or charging. Authorised repairer then said it was not covered by warranty and quoted $280 to return my phone. Is this a common fault with Oppo R7 phones?

My phone were stuck on Kitkat but my phone were very power effient... Killer features. Camera, Fast charging, stable UX and premium build quality... but downside, mediocre chipset, lack of update and pricey for chinese smartphone

My Oppo R7 plus blackout all of the sudden. I've tried to press the on/off button beside, took out the SIM card and even charged it but it doesn't give any respond. Could anyone please help me???

My R7 went into melt down for some reason last night and it defaulted to factory settings so I have lost all email, contacts and apps. Does anyone have any idea how this may have happened? Is there something I have pushed which may have caused it?
