Oppo Reno12 appears on TENAA with ultra-thin profile
Oppo is gearing up to launch the Reno12 series on May 23 in China. The company revealed the design of the Reno12, and now we have the full specifications, courtesy of TENAA.
The listing confirms that the phone will feature the new Dimensity 8250 chipset and retain the same battery and screen as its predecessor, the Reno11.

The Oppo Reno12 will come with a 6.7” OLED display with Full HD+ resolution. Although images have not yet been added to the listing, we expect the panel to have slightly curved edges for easier handling.
The phone is 7.25 mm thick and weighs 179 grams, which is rather light in the world of modern midrangers that are nearing 200 grams.
Meanwhile, the 4nm chipset promises solid CPU performance with one core at 3.1 GHz, three cores at 3.0 GHz, and an upgraded GPU compared to its predecessor.
The phone will have a 50 MP front camera, while the rear will feature a triple camera setup with 50 MP main camera, 8 MP ultrawide camera, and 50 MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.

The minimum battery capacity listed is 4,880 mAh, so the typical capacity will be 5,000 mAh. Other specifications include ColorOS 14, based on Android 14, as well as an IR blaster and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The Oppo Reno12 will be available in four memory options: 12/256 GB, 12/512 GB, 16/256 GB, and 16/512 GB. There will be at least three color choices, but we will have to wait six more days until the launch to find out the pricing.
