NikiDroid, 28 Dec 2020Well, I think Indonesia version also would not come with NF... moreThe Indonesia version got the NFC, but the NFC isn't 100% can be used. Only few things i can do with the NFC.

I have being using this phone now for over 2months, I must say I am really satisfied with it. I will only change this for reno 7pro when ever it get to my country Nigeria. I don't have any issues at all with the phone. The battery life is great and the design is suparb for the price. The only thing I notice is that most times the scream is hoter than the back of the phone, you will notice this when you have used the data network for a long time.

Qwerty., 02 Oct 2021This is my review of the Reno5 4G (tested at $350 for 8GB 1... moreBuy Realme GT Master, 778G like A52S more advance adreno 642L, consideering that Qualcomm and MediaTek now not really develop 4G chipset only minor update (that’s why most 4G phone using 720 or 732, actually 732 is minor difference than 720 so basically all 4G phone have similar in terms of performance but lag behind than 5G series altough 5G chipset is still expensive)

My reno 6 gives only 4 hours screen time

This is my review of the Reno5 4G (tested at $350 for 8GB 128GB)

                                The build:
The Reno5 is made of plastic, yes, but it is well-executed. It's comfortable to hold, and the textured back keeps me sane but a bit slippery. It also has a headphone jack.

                                The display:
The screen is very good. It's vibrant with deep blacks because of the AMOLED screen. The 90Hz refresh rate gives the phone a touch of fluidity and speed. The bezels are not the thinnest I've seen but thin enough for the price. There is a optical fingerprint scanner, which is very fast and reliable. There is also face unlock, which is pretty much instant, and it works even when you're wearing a mask.

                                The performance:
The phone has a Snapdragon 720G, and this chip is fast enough for most everyday tasks and some gaming too. It can handle games like PUGB and Asphalt 9, but it kinda suffers with Genshin. The 8GB of RAM is good for multitasking. The RAM can also be virtually expandable up to 5GB. Overall, it's no 888, but it's no slouch either.

                                The battery life:
The battery life has been incredible. I can get up to 10 hours of screen on time with medium to intensive use on a single charge. The battery can also fast charge up to 50W so if your battery is a little low, you could just put it on charge for 15 minutes and get half a day's worth of battery.

                                The software:
It's ColorOS so the setup is a bit wonky, but after that, it's perfectly fine. Great customization, good overall look, and good Google integration. It has a few bugs, mainly when an app just continually crashes until you re-install it again. You would get maybe 2 years of OS and bimonthly security updates. I have gotten three now, and the phone is doing fine. No big problems at all.

                                The cameras:
The Reno5 4G cameras are fine. The main camera is capable, with good dynamic range and detail. It suffers a bit in more harsh conditions, and the colors can get a bit weird, especially when you turn on AI scene enhancement. There is also an Extra HD option which upscales your photos to 108MP, but I wouldn't really use it. The ultrawide is just mediocre. Detail is poor, dynamic range struggles, the colors sometimes come out horrible. It's just not a good ultrawide camera. The two other cameras are just space fillers. The selfie camera struggles A LOT with dynamic range, even worse in portrait mode. The colors are just washed out. I had to use a filter just to get a more accurate result. Speaking of portrait mode, it's fine, nothing special.

                                Night mode:
Night mode on the Reno5 4G impressed me. It can produce very good low light photos, but it also can mess up quite a lot. If you really want to get the absolute best night mode shots, I recommend using Tripod Mode, but the caveat is that you need to put the phone on a stable surface or on a tripod for it to work properly. You can also do night mode selfies, and it's okay.

                                Video:
Video is average. It can record 4K but the stabilization is almost non-existent in 4K. There are four ways to stabilize your footage. 1. AI scene enhancement, but it's absolutely terrible in low-light. 2. Ultra steady mode. It caps the resolution to 1080p60fps and it also suffers in low-light but not as much as the AI scene enhancement. 3. Ultra Steady Pro, I don't recommend doing this at all. 4. Gimbal, and this is probably going to be your best bet for stable good video footage. The front can only record at 1080p30fps, and it's serviceable. Just not great.

                                Conclusion:
This is a solid mid-ranger for around $300-$350. There are alternatives to this. The Galaxy A52, which is better in the camera department. The Realme 8 Pro, which is basically identical. The Redmi Note 10 Pro, cheaper and slightly better in most things. The Poco X3 Pro, a much faster phone with the 860. The Poco X3, a Redmi Note 10 Pro for a bit less.

yassin hkr, 20 Jun 2021i just wanna know which one is better is it the reno 5 4g o... moreI have used both the A52 and Reno5 4G, and I can tell that the A52 is a better phone.
The A52 has a more reliable camera system.
The A52 has longer software support.
The A52 has a slightly longer battery life.
The A52 has a slightly better screen (opinion based).
The things that the Reno5 wins at is charging speed (50W vs 15W or 25W).
The Reno5 is more comfortable and better looking.
The 90Hz on the Reno5 feels a tad bit more responsive and instant compared to the A52.

ydym, 14 Jul 2021How long does reno 5 4G battery last when data is on going?... moreI usually get around 6 or 7 hours of screen on time on 4G with medium usage.
I get around 8 to 10 hours of screen on time on wifi with medium to intensive usage.

Is Reno 5 4G good for gaming?
The OPPO Reno5 4G's gaming features are great. Its 90Hz refresh rate powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core CPU with Adreno 618 GPU and 8GB of RAM made gaming smooth like butter. 192.168.l.254
