Lester Almeida, 10 Nov 2020I have Reno 4 Pro why would you release a phone with same s... moreThe Oppo Reno series(except the Reno Ace released last year,since the Ace become a individual series from Oppo ACE II)and former R series is a typical mid range physical store sale phone in China.So do the Huawei Nova series and Vivo X series.All of them release two series in a year(Huawei:Nova6 late 2019,nova7 April 2020,Nova8 Dec 2020 Vivo: X30:Dec 2019 X50:June 2020 X60 will coimg at Dec 2020)
When the phone released,the offical price of the phone is much higher than those online sale phone made by Xiaomi/Realme/IQOO/Honor with close spec.But the buying price of the dealer is much lower than the offical price.
When the new Reno serie released,the older Reno serie will have a discount in physical store(although still.higher than online sale phone with same spec),while the offical price not change.So the physical store salesman/woman can say'hi，look，the phone just released half year and have a hige discount,why not buy it' to those not know/care about phone spec.
I think it is somehow dishonest(and cheat),but it is the real situation

I have Reno 4 Pro why would you release a phone with same specs under the Reno brand and call it a new smartphone, I'm confused is this to just push random sales?

According to the leaks , the specs are almost identical to the reno 4 5g , except the main camera sensor and slightly bigger battery
