Popularity decreased with G5 though and never returned.

Sure, iphone 8 Plus is one of the most recent 5.5 inchers, and it is bigger than the age old LG G4 with it's 158.4 x 78.1 x 7.5 mm dimensions. Not really sure why bringing up iphones makes any point, though.

If you want a small phone, then go buy a small phone.

I'm and adult and kiddie sized phones are not for me.

LG don't make profit in smartphone division, and it's for a reason. I'm not saying that it's because of huge phones, but giving an example of a company that is know of bad decisions over the years...well is just bad.
    best-selling phone of the year (2018) was iphone x and second iphone 8, only third is a huge phone (iphone 8 plus). that means something for the companies to reflect. people don't care that much about bezzels. they care about size and price, good hardware and great support. oppo reno will fail bad in europe or rest of the world. 210g really?

I just wished companies look other markets than India or China. In those markets a smartphone is the only gadget they can aford. Its their first camera, first phone, first multimedia player, first music player...i understand that for them the bigger the better. Makers dont build bigger phones because people have seight problems, they build them because poor countries are on the rise and demands them.

Now they are almost non existence and still smartphones are bigger. That doesnt make sense. Remove the bezels dont make them bigger. Im pretty happy with my 5.5". I dont need a bigger screen on my phone just leaa bezels. Ive an htc u11 and i think the device is to big and heavy for me carring around all day. I miss my htc 10 form factor but with a bigger screen. Pixel 3 is a contender for my next phone same screen, smaller bezzels. Iphone xs have it but i cant live with that huge chin. Samsungs make holes thinking is better..i dont mind small bezzels on top or bottom, just dont ruin the screen. Ofc, im not expecting all people to have same tastes than I, but all makers are all builing same big devices, only 3 brands make small good devices, samsung, apple and google...

Just use them. If you need a larger screen get a tablet or enjoy real life. You dont miss much wasting your time looking at a screen.

The LG G4 was 148.9 x 76.1 x 9.8 mm, which is a very similar size for one handed use as this Oppo with it's 162 x 77.2 x 9.3 mm. Sure the Oppo is taller, but that doesn't really matter to how it feels in one hand.

                              why retard companies only make huge phones? and worst they are getting bigger and bigger.
                              PLEASE stop make phones only for China or India. I understand those are huge markets, but if you want to sell outside those markets stop building crap that we can't carry in a pocket and are too heavy for day to day use. I guess only Google, Apple and Samsung understands that...wonder why....

                              you are making my life easy to choose a phone this year, please make it harder.

                                Oppo please fix Color OS, make it more stock. Work on JPEG processing (chroma noise, detail rendering) and you have first worthy competitor to P30 PRO.
