Our Moto G9 Plus video review is out

Motorola’s G series has been a fan favorite dating back to its inception in 2013. Since then it’s expanded to encompass budget offerings of all shapes and sizes and the latest one is the Moto G9 Plus which brings a Snapdragon 730G chipset, 5,000 mAh battery with 30W charging and 64MP primary camera. We’ve already brought you our detailed written review on the phone and now we present our video breakdown.

As the Plus moniker confirms, the phone is quite big with its 6.81-inch IPS LCD and 223-gram weight. It’s also quite wide and not ideal for one-handed use. The display was nothing spectacular and did not impress with brightness either, topping out at 522 nits in auto mode. Audio wasn’t impressive either with a single bottom-firing speaker.

The Snapdragon 730G performed quite well in all scenarios though the 4GB RAM is a potential bottleneck down the road. Camera performance from the main shooter was quite good though photos from the ultrawide lens were a letdown. The clean Android 10 interface ran like a breeze. Battery endurance was quite impressive with 136-hour rating in our proprietary testing.
