Yes install resco explorer to beam files via ir or bluetooth.Resco Explorer is a must have.

It's my first time with the Treo or the Microsoft Mobile. I have been used to Symbian OS for years with Nokia. I have been trying to send a business card via SMS but the Treo only goes through beaming (InfraRed). Does anyone know if sending contacts via SMS or Bluetooth possible with the Treo 750? If so, how do we do it. Thanks.

i'm sure if i have to choose between symbian, palm os and windows mobile, i definitely wont take symbian, 1st can symbian provide u as much software as windows/palm os provide??
2nd, symbian doesnt work well with wifi and with this main reason i wouldnt buy symbian...lest say nokia, with no offence, i think nokia can only be proud of their n95....

After using Treo 650 for over 2 years, I am really disappointed in the Treo 650. The Palm OS was better especially for my Bible software (which was the main reason for buying a smartphone).
I am in Accra, Ghana. With the Treo 650, I connected easily to the GPRS network of Areeba (a GSM network provider in Ghana). I used the web browser easily and the e-mail software was fun. With the Treo 750, I couldn't connect to the Areeba network because the device I bough was branded for Cingular. After 2 weeks, I am already fed up and I have packed the phone in a box ready to be sent back to the US.
I guess Treo 680 would be better.

To Turn the 750 off "keep pressing red phone button for few second". It will ask for password. Type the password of your choice. Do not forget the password. You will need the password to turn it again. Once phone is off you can't receive or make any call. Phone will no longer ring. To Turn it on "keep pressing the red phone button again for few second". It will your password will be there. You do not have to type it again - just press Middle botton. But you need to put your phone's Pin Number that your phone dealer gave. Without that pin Number you can't turn the phone on again. Make sure you know the the Pin Number before you turn the phone off. Type four digit PIN NUMBER and then press enter. Your phone is on again.

i had the treo 650 before the 750 and all quite frankly microsoft OS is an inferior system compared to palms' in terms of user interface and sheer logical use.
quite likely the last treo i will be buying if they continue using microsoft!!

hi...for those who wants to sync ur 750 wif mac, you got to download a 3rd party software call the "missing sync"...and this pda has no way to shut down becoz when its on the standby mode its already on batt saving mode...any more question feel free to raise up plz...thx

does anyone know how to turn the phone off when not being used. it looks like the phone is off when the hang up button is pressed but the phones pda is still on. is there a way to turn the phone off completely to save battery.

i had this phone for a month and this phone sucks!!! Palm destroyed the treo by putting windows on it.. the Treo OS was soo much better than the windows OS.. DO NOT BUY ANYTING WITH WINDOWS MOBILE!!! kills the phone

nonsense...the different betwwen 750v n 750 is just the name...V stands for vodaphone which is only exclusive to m1 as for 750 it is still using windows but wif a build in hsdpa as well..however 750v is also enable wif...u can actually download the software when it launches out by end of next mth....

whats the difference between Treo 750 and Treo 750v?
what i know "v" stands for vodafone and 750v doesn't support HSDPA but 750 can.can anybody confirm this?
And is Treo 750 available in Malaysia? Treo 750v is available in Malaysia and it cost around Rm2,700.
Looking forward for any replies.

doesn't need wifi 3g definitly fast enough ...windows palm os mixture works great much better than 650 much faster and lighter... internet great cingular does hav msn and jusfind someone with aim and beam it windows os allows u to get much more programs 100 better phone worth the money

No WIFI, using its competitor OS. Palm is losing a battle.
Palm OS + device = The real Treo
Palm OS + no Palm device = a Treo wannabe.
Palm device + no Palm OS = a joke Treo.
