So if it is water proof, why it didn't get IP67 instead of IP57?

Agreed and no doubt about Panasonic real high quality as well as durability that lasts for ages but the question is why they are not matching the user's requirements as the people are pointing out here many things like Card slot, scratch protection, massive batteries, better and enhanced features that make it extraordinary rather than as casual as many exist already in market???

This is excellent phone. PANASONIC it self tells us the quality of the phone. sound quality is excellent.

I got it for 3 days. Nothing is amazing...very ordinary android phone with water proofing. Call quality, camera, speaker and music..all just avarage in comparison with SXS, HTC ONE X and S Note. Screen is par with Moto Razr. Storage of 8gb (available 4gb to user) is not enough. Overall 6.5 out of 10.

battery 1150 on a 4.3' screen and dualcore processor?
8gb internal storage which means probably 4gb user available and no sd slot?
is this a joke of the year?
unless if it's priced below 50$, than it would b ok.

I would absolutley love it but there are two issues that are very disturbing. NO FLASHLIGHT and FRONT CAMERA.
Whats up with that... u just dont go on the market with these kind of lacks these days, besides every phone is missing one or 2 things may that be ram, mp of camera or tft instead oled..annoying for a buyer that wants to have it all.
                Thats the marketing for you...PeterBaš

Needs unlocked bootloader. An android phone is nothing without developer support.

Best thing is that it is a 'Panasonic'. Love it simply. Yeah, battery capacity should be enhanced but if they are conscious about weight and thin-ness, they may offer two batteries or an additional heavy battery for longer use. Flash and added internal memory may be endorsed in newer models and Gorilla Glass or other protection alike also. We respect the Brand for the highest quality and fantastic durability always.

I've always liked Panasonic phones. Like the old VS6 - some slick design features made it wonderful to use, such as the button on the side that flicked the display lid up in a spring and menu buttons that only displayed the options actually available, rather than everything in a menu - something even today's phone miss as a trick.

And let's not forget the fantastic Enable/Disable option positioning of the highlight bar, that would by default be highlighting the opposite option of the currently chosen one; if Audio is Disabled, why would the option be the first selected when you enter that menu option again? Surely, the Enable should be highlighted...?

It was little touches like that, even iOS and Andy phones have missed as a trick today.

Hope the new model is affordable - would be nice to go back to the 'fold' again.

Shame it is limited to only 2 bands how shortsighted and stupid Panasonic.
these day and age all flagship phones should at least be quadband 3g at the very least if not LTE capable as well!
