hey i bought this phone for RM750. erm ,why in this pic the blue backlight is not that bright, but the one i was having now was so blue, even the keypads were blue, the light is too bright that i can't really see my lovely pink color cover. i love this phone, n there are no problems wif the composer. There are also date n time for the message.

It is a very nice phone. I would like to buy one. But alas! I couldn't find any authourised shop or priority showroom of panasonic It is not available in the market with a genuine bill and in a original panasonic sealed packing.

The Europe and Russia version of the GD55 are indeed tri-band, the Asian version is Dual-band. My wife just got this phone....in pink.... It makes my Samsung S105 look gigantic.

The GD55 should be Triband as it is described that way on almost every website. If you want to know it exactly, you should contact Panasonic, not an authorized dealer, even these guys can get the wrong end of the stick!

I am happy with Ericsson T39mc, as it is a triband phone GSM 900/1800/1900.(work around the globe)

In your website, the GD55 is also capable for using GSM 900/1800/1900. However, I just bought a GD55 in Hong Kong from the authorized Panasonic dealer. They describe that GD55 can only be dualband, not triband.

                                  What do you say?

Please reply as soon as possible. I may consider to have one more for myself, but I need triband, as it can work for both US, Europe, Asia GSM system.

                                  Thank you very much

Hi, I just bought the GD55 for $89 with one year contract with Cingular Wireless. It doesn't come with a manual. Does anyone knows where I can get one or download one? Thanks.
