Anyone know what polyphonic ringtone formats the GD67 will support? SP-MIDI, Yamaha SMAF, Digiplug? Is it possible to download your own MIDI files?

If you want a good basic phone with a colour screen this is it! It's inexpensive - I paid £30 on contact with Voda. It has a very clear 256 colour display, which is as my (more expensive) T68i. It has good polyphonic ring tones, though the tunes sound like they've been taken from old Sega Megadrive games, apart from the one that was sampled from a police car siren.... The browser is a bit quirky you can only read 4 lines at a time so the joystick has to be worked hard to read anything. I don't like the Image-in feature. It's a photo-frame on the back of the phone. You need to put something in to hide the battery, which is a different colour to the phone, it's off-white. Thankfully Panasonic have included a couple of cards to go in, one's a silver grey card so that looks OK. The more artistic (colourblind?) of you can go to the Panasonic website to dowload and print other pictures that can be used. Navigation is very user friendly, you rarely have to resort to the manual to work thing out. The speaker and the mic are of good quality, giving clear sound. To sum up if you want something a little different from the run-of-the-mill Nokia's you should seriously consider this phone.

It's out in Argos on Vodafone PAYG today, for £149.99. Still no sign on O2 though - I emailed them earlier this week but they (eventually) said they didn't have a date.

All you need to do is buy this phone sim free (£180 carphonewarehouse) and then you can use it on pay as you go as long as you buy a sim card.

Argos were the first to advertise it on payg, but I'm not sure if they still have it. Worth trying phones 4 u and carphone warehouse to.

Bear in mind if your after GPRS then it's not available (I don't think) on payg.

I have had this phone for a week now and its ace its got nuf load speekers so u can play some nuf good tunes the color screen makes everything easy to see and the games are nuf good in color.
its cheap but it has GPRS as well as wap plus and texting is quik and easy.
Just one problem if u get it on o2 it doesnt come with all the wap settings all ready done so u have to do it all manualy, but thats only if u can find the wap setting info which i cant so can some one please tell me where i can get it from or can someone just type it up on this page because there are many people wanting this info as well as good internet pages where u can get new ringtones from.
