Has anybody actually succeed in transfering MP3 larger than 1Mb through USB cable?
I have to decide if I'll buy a cable or a IR receiver.
Is it true that the problem with transfering larger files is due to the IR?

The content og the box differs from one country to another. In Bulgaria for example I've heard that in Bulgaria you'll find 3 covers, the headset, the screwdriver and a usb cable. In Romania only the 3 covers and the screwdriver.
Perhaps it differs from one operator to another.

            To everybody:
There's nothing wrong with the phone concerning connectivity! It simply can't accept files larger than 1 MB through IrDA. If you would like to upload larger files, please use a data cable. And Panasonic has its own phone management software, you just need a computer with an internet connection to find it. PS: I have VS3 and it's working perfectly. PPS: If you just use the phone to talk, the life of the battery is around 3 days. If you transfer files, make pictures and so on, it drops to 2 maybe 1 day.

i have this phone for about a month...i think that it is bad that it hasnt got bluetooth...i write messages quick and sometimes the phone freezes...the sound is quite good...the memory is quite weak...i think that memory card would be great...

I've had this phone for 3 months now and never had any trouble with any of its features, the flawless coloures are as good as described, the sound quality is excellant and it is an all round brillant phone. I've never bought a phone that has met my high expectations yet the VS3 has completed this task easily. I highly recommend it to anyone.

And btw, opening the phone in the "classic" way doesn't do it any harm. But it's not so funky:))!

                        For Katerina.
I've just bought the vs3 2 months ago. I'm quite satisfied with it, the battery is 2-3 days of medium use, its manu is user-friendly, generally it is well built.
The infrared works with other manufacturers phones, but I couldn't receive a 5Mb mp3 from a Nokia. The pictures are easily shared. The ring volume is ok, and mind that I'm quite deaf :)!

I'm seriously thinking of buying this great phone! But I have some questions and I'd be greatful if someone could help me with those.. (sorry for the bad English,I'm Greek!) Firstly,do the infra-red communicate well with other mobile phones even made by other companies, eg Sony Ericsson or with a infra-red device of my pc? Then, if I open the phone not using the button but manually am I going to do it any harm? And finally, when somebody calls me, is the sound loud enough so that I don't miss any phone calls? Thank you in advance for your answers, they'd be really helpful!

I have been using this phone for almost 4 months now, and it's been great so far. Sure, it's missing somethings like bluetooth and a memory slot, but it's still great.
I even dropped it out of my pocket as I was running annd it landed on concrete. Nothing wrong with it still.
