mr grand what r u trying say that x700 is a better phone compare to s700i n i think ur jealous that u dont own a s700i n i already tried x700 n it sucks man n symbian or bugs phone n s700i has radio n mp3 pure quality n 256k colour n own the phone for 3months n very happy with n recently brought z1010 n like it also n starting to fall in love with sony products n panasonic the paints wears faster than any other models n i own x70 last time n the paint came off suddenly even through i put in pouch to prevent this but still the same n no quality n cheap skate phone n mr grand if ur proud owner than good luck but dont be jealous of me man

Yeah you can set vibrate and ring at the same time just like any other phone. It's a great phone the interface is very user-friendly and the look is great.

anyone who's got this phone, can you tell me if it vibrates and rings at the same time, or does it vibrate first then ring, like some other clamshells?

I got it last week. I am pretty happy with the speed and functionality, but i got one prob. During the phone call, both party always can't hear what each other said. The sound is like on and off, can anyone give me some idea how to settle this?

I dont have this phone but my friend has it, i like it ...I have 7610 .I ve tried this one . amazed me its smartphone with stylish looks, and the perfomance very well. I want to have this lovely phone cause using Symbian OS too. well if ur phone not using Symbian,Palm,windows mobile,or Linux OS. ur phoner just another lousy phone,thats sucks in todays technology. U cant have amazing feature to ur phone.

x700 announced in 2004 1q in Feb , s700 announced in 2004 march . IF u talking bout suing .. Panasonic should sue Sony because Panasonic announced it first!

hey moto boy , 700 is a number .. so 700 belong to ur ericsoon u mean? r u crazy ? im comparing this to s700 that u said its better , s700 is not a smartphone cause doesnt have operating system. well if u r compare to nokia that has symbian os that will be different things.

hmm mr grand if u own a x700 thats good u but not every 1 likes it n yes its symbian phone n bugs phone n my friend has 1 n he himself dislike the phone n regreat buying it n in s,pore starhub mobile 2year contract x700+bluetooth cost $500+ n s700i $700+ n trade in value $400 n s700i $650 n panasonic phone the camera sucks n nokia symbian phone 10 times better x700 n why must panasonic copy s700i model number n put x700 n confuse people u know n think about those old people who not sure of model n confuse n handphone dealers trick them buying x700 n they regreat buying after they found out n lucky sony dont sue panasonic using their model number s700 to x700 n panasonic symbian is crap n a scrap phone

yes it can put 512mb , the max limit mini sd card , 1 giga still coming soon

s700 is not a smartphone, it doesnt have operating system,u cant add any new application, x700 is a smartphone it can use any symbian s60 application ..example like anti mosquito,english dictionary, compass,answering machine,fm and sw radio,dvd player,etc .there are hundreds good symbian app. maybe s700 better in display and camera but cant put new application,it can only store java games and mp3... .Overall x700 better than sony s700
