The Panasonic X800 is not a 3G phone, but a triband GSM phone (900, 1800, 1900). But it is currently the smallest smart phone :-)

After installing OggPlay, you are only able to additionally play and use as ringtones Ogg Vorbis (.ogg) files on top of MIDI (.mid) and SMAF (.mmf) files. If your songs are originally MP3s, you will need to convert them to Ogg Vorbis first somehow. Or if you want to play MP3s directly, you can purchase software such as UltraMP3 or MP3Go to do so.

As mentioned, use the Series 60 MMF one. The direct link to download is:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=86146&package_id=124176
For transfer of files, you can use Bluetooth, Infrared, Direct USB, or just copy directly to the memory card.

OggPlay is a freeware which can be downloaded from http://symbianoggplay.sourceforge.net . Use the Series 60 MMF version and after installation, not only will you be able to play Ogg Vorbis files, your X800 will also gain the ability to use Ogg Vorbis files as ringtones.

Although the Panasonic X800 does not support MP3 playback by default, you can purchase software such as UltraMP3 or MP3Go to get around this. Otherwise, use the free OggPlay to play the better quality Ogg Vorbis files instead.
Had it for 3 days already and loved it. My only complains so far are the rather short battery life (I think it needs some "burning in"), and the glossy surface interior as well as exterior (which really invites fingerprints and grime stains), and that it feels really plastic.

This phone has definately the state of the art technologies just for the lack of a mp3 player. Does anyone know whether a software or sumthin can be downloaded onto the X800 or not.Help would be appreciated.,thanks:)

X800 supports all the normal features that are compatible with any symbian phones. Personally I feel X800 is much cooler than the X700 in hardware design. Really resembles very much of the Mobile phones used in Japan! :)
