i just bought this phone and its quite good. i like the buttons which are not too soft or hard, just nice. the display is clear and the quick office software is useful except for the quickpoint (powerpoint) which is a bit lagging. the speaker's sound is not clear, not sharp and too bassy for a tiny mobile phone speaker which makes the sound breaks. the external display is a bit dull which only shows the date and time even though it has 65k display and that is a waste. they should put something more such as animations etc. the battery really drains! it only lasts one day! the two games are quite fun. hope to get the 512 MB sd card soon...

Please answer my questions about Panasonic X800
1) How many MB can record one hour of video?
2) How many MB can store one thousand pictures?
3) Can i charge this phone overnight?
(as some people have problem with that)
4) Can it transfer a 10MB of MP3 file?
(as some people says MP3 is lousy and where to download MP3 Player)
5) Is the picture very clear with the flash and 4x Zoom VGA camera?
6) How many MB can i record ten minutes of voice recording?
7) Is the 512MB MiniSD will have problem with this phone?
8) Is the screen brighter than Nokia phones?
9) Will the keypad get spolit when u type messages very fast?
10) Can it last for twelve hours before the battery goes flat?
I am not sure whether this phone can play MP3 files with the phone closed and can i listen through the speaker or earphones. Please tell me more details about this phone as i am going to buy one as soon as possible. How much is this phone at Starhub Shops?

Can anyone help? i've had mine for about 2 months and occasionally, the battery seems to overheat or something and my screen will just turn solid white. usually i can just take out the battery and put it back in and then everything will be fine except the loss of about half my battery's life. However, today the same thing happened, and now even if i try to take the battery out and put it back in, its still all white screened. Anyone know what to do?

Some really annoying idiosyncrasies: First, when the phone is set to silent the repetitive battery-low warning tone still sounds, all day long, which is very frustrating. Second, the phone sometimes 'forgets' alarms if the handset is switched off and then back on again. Third, the battery life is nowhere near what Panasonic claims. It lasts around 70 hours with no use, which is pathetic.

MP3's do play on it!!!!!!!!! - just use third party programs like powermp3 etc.!!!!!!!!!! Why do you people buy this phone if you can't use it properly - you have Symbian on it.. hello! Symbian = you can install tons of programs...

Hi there. I wanted to get some MP3 files as ringtones. But seems like it won't work. I wonder if there'r any programs or softwares that can do something about it.
And I don't know why my X800 with .wav files as ring tones.. The sound SUCKS! I hate it so much. Pleas anyone can help me solve this problem... =.=

i used my music,(wav.) as ringtones, and it works fine, probably mp3 dnt work, Just use the Panasonice computer disc, to tranfers wav. to your phone. but it cant hold big file, so if you have programs to edit music, u can make the music file shorter and used them as ringtones,

So far, the only bad thing about this phone is the battery life. I do not think this phone can play mp3 ring tones.
