Hi,the PHILIPS 355 phone is really good i must admit.Am actually wondering if it has a USB port as its manual says,or is there a way of connecting it to a computer?PLEASE HELP.THANKS

The Philips 355 is a piece of garbage phone,
because the Joystick is awful, the Lcd has 65k but the colours are dissapointing and all the pictures have no quality , the pictures you make with the camera are shity and if you put it as wallpaper you will see that the picture you made is a little smaller than the lcd, is really stupid
And the autonomy of the battery is LOW 1 day if you make pictures.
The memory os 1.8 Mb ,400kb free and only 10 fotos can be stocked.
Really STUPID A low price phone but the quality is VERY LOW DO not BUY THIS PHONE

I bought this phone couple of days back.
It looks good but the ok button in joy stick is horrible,very difficult to use. Another issue is picture clarity in camera is poor and no ways u can send the sanps to ur computer.
On whole it a good worth for the money

It is a good phone.I like its features,but the main problem with this phone is that it doesn't have Video Recording and it can't beat the Nokia Phones.

Can anyone give me a bit of help with this problem.When I try to send a text message after I press the send now button what comes up is a screen that says (sms centre no) at the top.
If anyone can help me sort this out I would be grateful.

its utter rubbish it doesnt work! it crashes, it freezes, it doesnt send my messages it doesnt let me answer my calls it unlocks itself its rubbish do not buy it

It's really an nice set. it has so many features just like voice recording that i have never seen in a mobile before.But only problem is it's bettery backup.It has only battery backup of 2 days. if u just incerse it ot 3-4 days then it will be an unbitable mobile in the market. I have this set having only problem of batterybackup and about its memory(i.e. only 2mb).

philips 355 has a serial connection and it can be connected to com1 at PC , but u need to open the phone and solder rx , tx and gnd.

How to connect this phillips 355 phone to PC. Where can i atleast see (some picture) the datacable for this phone and how to connect it. If if doesn't have data connection by any mean. Then it is a junk phone.

I got it for £29.99 from Virgin on Pay as You Go. I'd say ITS GREAT !! Great value for money indeed. Where else can you get a reasonablly coloured camera phone for less than 30 quidz. THUMBS UP to PHILIPS n ORANGE
