Do not buy this phone!
i recently bought one as it looked the part, how i was wrong!! i had it a day and it decided that it didnt want to turn on. so i sent it back and recieved a new phone of the same model which lasted 3 days until it basically fell apart when it fell off my bed and onto the carpet! and as for the pictures and phone quality i.e. settings, messages very poor. this phone is a waste of YOUR money!!! later.....

it not good phone
i activated gprs and it worked 4 2 days but when i charged it all ring tones and pic wer deleated and when i go and download the ring tones it sayy "unknown file format" what the hell is the phone i recommend all who are going forward 2 buy the phone 2 stop dreaming and buy a nokia atleast 3310 !!

Sorry, I forgot about second major issue with this phone: the joystick is very bad and uncomfortable, it's very difficult to use it, becouse it doesn't work like a real joystick (soft) but it works as normal keys (very hard, other keys are also very hard)

I'm now using this phone, or, at least, trying to use it. It's very bad phone I must say :( Previously, I used Nokia 8210. Nokia was old and didn't have anything besides calls/sms and snake ;) but I think it is better phone than this one. You ask me why? Well, this phone has many flaws, but one is major - SLIDESHOW!!! Yes, this phone doesn't work in full speed, everything is veeeery slow - even navigating in menu and writing sms/ e-mails!!!! Before buying this phone first test it in the shop... See how writing works etc. The camera isn't bad, but it's only 320x240 pixels. Also, if someone call when you are making photo, you'll lost it even if you decide to not "pick up the phone". My opionion: not usable :(

Im about 2 buy a phillips 355 for a kid im not sure if it's worth the money ! ! but can some1 give me a reasonble answer for this fone . It's stylish rounded design slips neatly in to ur pocket it is easy 2 use and is 1 of the cheapest camera fones avalible. It has 30 ringtones 1 game it has a colour screen and the colour resolutions is 65,536 . the screen size is (pixel)128x128 it weighs 82g . regards Littleguy

I am going to order the phone but i don't no now. bcz people say its good then on the other hand people say it is rubbish and the camera is rubbish...........

The camera is crap! The knob is too big for me and occasionally falls off. Poor quality colour. Would be better with infrared and decent games. Not a good phoone at all.

It says you can have a picture phone book but it wont work on mine. Also the picture quality is rubbish and you cant sent picture messages!!! If some1 ca help please do !!!

I have just brought the philips 355 mobile phone and I must say that I love it it is so easy to use admittingly at first I just didn't know where to start as I am not very technically minded but a visit to my local Virgin Mobile shop sorted everything out for me. They connected the "wap" settings for me they even showed me how to send an email via "mms" I am very happy with the pictures the phone takes too.
All I am left with now is how to connect my phone to my pc and where to buy the cable it needs to do this.So if anyone has any ideas please do let me know.

I have a philips355 Phone and 350 Data cable with CD.I can get mobile Phone Tools functions panel on my PC screen .When I click on to any funtion on the panel , I get the message on the phone :switch of your Phone .I have send E-Mails to Virgin -no help

A good fun good sound quality camera is okay on it, gprs is good and good ringtones know plenty of free ringtone sites, but hard to get it unlocked as im on o2 but teh phone is on the orange network. Anybody know any unlocking experts email me at yankeewayne@yahoo.co.uk cheers.
