This phone is very beautifull, but... I had it about a month until it felt to ground from 40cm height and his screen was broken,no one could help me in lithuania(i'm living here) because there ara only few this model phones.So i have this phone and still waiting for someone who will broke the same phone to buy it cheap, take his screen off and put it to mine phone!Because the phone i like very much!If anybody could help me with getting the screen i will pay!Write to me!

i cant rate this phone to anybody at all. its a pile of poo. i got it recently because it waz cheap had a camera looked farely decent ...... how rong was i . you can hardly see the pics you take . also i agree with the man and the unlocking thing also the signal is terrible. its a big NO NO . never buy a phillips phone i havent had a good 1 yet. Nice designs maybe that is all .

Had this phone a few months now and it seemed ok to start with. Had a couple of problems more recently. When it loses its signal and gets it back again (according to display) it won't let me make calls, send messages etc without switching it off and back on again. I also noticed i seemed to be losing credit when i hadnt been making calls. Thats when i noticed a glitch on the joystick. If you lock the keypad and then move the joystick up and down a few times the phone unlocks (this keeps happening if its in my pocket and i am walking). As a result i am now considering buying a new phone which is a shame as it used to be quite good and was good for the money

it's a preety ok fone once u get your gprs activated ...the only thing about this fone is it doesn have infra-red or bluetooth...the camera is like any other ericson fone

It's not an opinion on the phone it's self... I'm not that modern when it comes to phones, a phone is a phone to me... But one thing that has started to make me curious, is that you can record sound? Is there anyway the sound you record can be used for your ring tone? If someone could let me know that would be great thank you.

this is a very cool piece at such a low price. the camera options are very good, and the resolution is good.really worth for its price
I face problems only with downloading ringtones . can any body suggest me a way for downloading tones?>?

I have purchased PHILIPS 355 hand set through Indiatime auction. but unable to activate GPRS in hand set, as per AIRTEL customer care this set doesnot support GPRS setting. While setting the hand set disconnect and shows SIM FAILURE. Please help.

This is s really cool phone. Many people advised me against buying this phone but i went ahead and bought it and i'm happy and satisfied with it. The Price is Rs.5990 in India. This phone is value for money. No other phone at this price or little more offers such a huge list of features.
The the screen resolution and the camera operation is GOOD. Only thing they can improve is to change the design of the KEYPAD. The upper four keys are too small .
As far as battery is concerned , i have read the comment of one guy who was completely pissed off with it. He says battery drains out within 24 hours. I have a piece of ADVICE for all those who are using it and those who are planning to buy one. Its basically a phone and not a playstaion or a Fully functional camera. If you use these features for long hours , it will consume more power . When the phone is in stand-by it lasts longer.
So use the other features like camera and games sparingly if you want the battery charge to last longer. Else you will have to charge it every day.

this phone is terrible- the manufacturers quoted time is 400 hours of battery life- mine lasts a day- i am sending this back right now, it is the most appalingly crap thing i have ever bought. philips have really fallen below their usual outstanding quality.
