I purchased the Phillps 855 made in France while in Martinique FWI, a France island in November or December. The Phillps phone was made for the Orange mobil telephone company and worked very well on the island. When I returned to France it did not work at all. I live in Belgium and have tried to buy a different SIM card through the Belgium company Proximus but the telephone will not except it. The pin number I had in Martinique will not work here. Anyone know how I can make the phone work here in Europe?

so far i now about this mobile price in rupiah ind currency is about : Rp.1,850,000 or in us $ about : 206$. Hope u feel happy now, and if u wanna buy that, i guarante that is good mobile. cheers.

I have fisio 855, but sometimes i have trouble to decompres jpeg, camera not working (blank), and date times not show...

My first grouse is that I ordered this phone through a friend in USA, only to discover that it is made in CHINA. China is well known for producing TOYS, not PHONES.I was so frustrated because I used a quarter of my annual income to buy it. The phone is just terrible. You cannot read the screen in bright day light. It goes blank occassionaly. When on standby,it dials on its own.The battery life is extremely short compared to normal phones.I wonder why PHILIPS should allow this phone to be produced in China. It has given PHILIPS a bad name. I have very high regrets because I have no means of returning the phone and replace it with something better. Can a good Samaritan help me? I reside in Nigeria. I will never advise anyone, not even my enemy to buy PHILIPS 855, if is China made.

I have this 855 for 3mths. It look great on the screen and camera. however, it have to upgrade the software to make it run faster at the service centre. it have problem to setup the mms with operator here. it is abit slow in scrolling name and typing of sms.

I've had this phone for over a month now. There are a lot of positive things to say about this model, but I have two major problems with it. There's no signal when I receive a SMS, only with MMS.
The sound quality is NOT very good compared to all other Philips phones. I've had Philips Xenium 9@9 for almost three years. That telephone is close to perfect...as a mobile phone and not a entertainment center.

I bought this phone and I`m very happy!It`s very nice and the pictures are great..Battery life = min 2 days with all the animations,sounds,photos. It`s cool!

i have buy 855 for two weeks, i have trouble in sms setting, if there is a sms coming, there is no sound, could anyone can tell me, what shoul i do to active the sound again..so i can detect if any sms coming

I buy Philips 855 2 weeks ago, it's bad with display and camera, i thinks it's to bad to buy phillips any more. Don't buy phillips 855.

Does anyone find the ear speaker too soft? Its really much too quiet! I can't even use it in the mall... or perhaps I'm deaf?... any insight?

This phone is shocking!!!
My friend had it and the screen went dead (like you hear from so many others) after just three weeks. The colors faded, lines all across it, camera froze etc. etc.
I would not buy this phone, save yourself from trouble and spend a couple of bucks more on a decent phone.
It looks very cheap too. It's just plain plastic, doesn't look very exciting in real life. The camera is pretty good (when it works) and the games are cool, but other than that....don't touch it.

I bougnt 855 3 monthes ago.The screen had been blank occasionally. Sometimes the sub-wallpaper could been changed to the same picture as the main wallpaper without following my settings.
