This is the wrost phone I ever used. In one year warrenty I have gone 4 time to service center. Finally after warrenty it goes down.

2day i got this phone only by 80$ in Bangladesh. it has excellent performance by such a cheap price. the video quality is not such good BUT it does play the recorded files! and mp3 is just cool. after all a recommended stuff for not so rich person. cheers.

this phone is crazy.
sometimes plays the video files, other times it doesn't. i don't know what's wrong with it

if you are not careful and accidentaly hit your s800's display the megapixela will broke and a lot of stains will apear on the display.

i've been using this phone for a year now and i think it's great for a cheap price!! really!! and for music lover, great sound quality!! ;p

hi for all s800 users.you can play the recorded videos but only if you ste in the camrecord section EV on 0.the usb doesnt work on '98 only on xp.and xp also needs a specific driver.in rest the phone its ok.

Philips s800 is a great phone for its great music . still i miss my s800 .It is a music phone like SE k800/moto E1/nokia 6630 .If u want to enjoy music u can take philips s800.

It's a great phone and it has a lot of useful features,but it doesen't have a browser for pictures on the external screen!And the 98 usb drivers wich was provided with the phone didn't worked on win 98 and for win xp i couldn't find any drivers.any one can help me?borchdany@yahoo.com

Hi, this phone accumulates a lot of dust inside external screen, also annoying big dusts can dive into internal screen from headset holes.
Anyway, what is the removal procedure the dust which is under internal LCD screen?
Removing front screws(beneath internal screen) is enough for opening glass cover of internal LCD?

Hey! can this phone really run java applications? I have a philips S800 and it cant download any java application on it....I think hasn't any java option.

Update again: Although EV set to zero or less, this mobile phone still cannot play some video files with no luck. It says ''invalid video file'' and i could not figure out why. If anyone finds a solution, please post the solution and God Blesses him/her...

Update: In camrecorder settings make sure EV setting set to zero. Then you can play the recorded videos :)

I bought this phone today and it cannot play video which is recorded by itself. Solution?
Secondly, i could not customize images as ''wallpaper''.

..this phone ive tried it for olmost a yr. ive enjoyed it bcoz of its mp3. the only problem of this phone is,,this phone don't have bluetooth and not supported of java. this phone is really suitable for music lover.

It is a very beautiful phone with 2 Lcd and mp3.But problem is that it has no infrared port.So I have to use multimedia for exchenging tones and pictures from my friends which costs a lot.

"boom" this phone is a regular phone not cute not allot fetures its ok we here think that sprint has the best phone availible for cutomers, good looks, good fetures, good battery life, good memeroy ,dam good every thing , they have phones for simple to very very styillish. "boom".. (all) from trinidad west indies.
