Well this mobile phone is almoust out of production because the factory that made this mobile was in le mens FRANCE, and this factory was closed.:(
Now the new factory is european telecom and Philips is trying to change is position in the world market, in spite of this brand being very good after all this years it´s not enough for Philips, as you can see Philips created one new range FISIO series, this series ar very good, for lucky i´m going to purchase this phone, here in portugal, but it´s very hard to find this mobile here in portugal, if you want one new philips mobile purchase the new fisio 620 or even better the 820.

I'm from Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). I have a lot of Philips' products and also mobile phone "Genie- sport". Now, after two years I want to buy a new one, and of course it must be Philips' phone. I am very interested in Xenium 9@9. Unfortunately, Philips' mobile phones is very difficult find here in Bosnia. So please, tell me the nearest place where I can get their mobile phone (in this case it is XENIUM 9@9 or 989) and tell me the price.

Greetings,
I think my xenium is a great and tough phone. But there are a few things that I would like to give opinion on to make the phone better. First, there should be a large capacity phone book memory. Second, there should be an easier way to send a same sms to different numbers. Not write the same message over and over.

The keyboard is too small for me. I don't know can I get ringtones from net. But design is cool and very original... the game sometimes hangs!!! The ball loops!

It's not the smallest, still got an antenna, has no mirror behind the screen, like some motorolas. You can add ringtones, but noboby knows where, A carkit (original) is very expensive, and universal accesoiries are rare, or not availible, and so one... And still it's the best preforming phone I ever had. (I had 29 different types) If you want a phone to make calls (that's the basic idea, right?) philips is just about the best you can buy!!!

je veux bien savoir toutes les methodes et les codes utilisées pour ce GSM car je le posséde et je sais pas comment il fonctionne et surtout en envoyant des messages il restes beaucoup de temps pour que l'expediteur recoit le message et par fois non

Best telephone I ever owned. The only backdraw is the lack of good games. Bricks is not so fun though. Menu navigating and T9 for SMS sending is superb. And the standby time? my biggest problem is to remeber where I've put my charger between the times.

good little phone but difficult to find additional logs ring tones etc for it dont see why not other than it cant be very popular
