why is it that you don't sell the 9@9++ here in the Philippines. I have the nokia 3650; 8250; 7210; 3510i; and an sony ericsson T68i. I want to purchase the 9@9++ but it is not available in our market yet. May I know when this phone will be available here in the Philippines? Thank you.

I think this product is excellent, but I had a rather annoying question that I want to ask:

            1. How do you edit an sms?
            2. What key should you push to get an enter character (insert a new line)?
            3. What is SMAP/POP3 Address, and how do you configured it, so I can use the e-mail feature

If there's anyone out there that could help me (specially Philips it self), I'd be so gratefull, thank you. I'm waiting :)

              Hi
When will this phone be available in Belgium or west-europe? I read a test on 13/5/2003. We're now 21/7/2003 and still no news about it!?!

If philips made a phone with colour display the autonomy would smaller...
This phone is for users who search for a phone who have quality, good autonomy!

I don't know what to say. Philips knows something that the other manufacturers still cannot detect concerning standby autonomy. Also, Philips' phones have an excellent reception. And even phones with internal antennas sill have better reception than Nokias, for example. I assured myself when I replaced fisio 625 with new Nokia 6610. This phone has very beautiful color display (4096 colors) and that's all. If you compare this phone with Fisio 825 you'll see big difference. I don't mean "compare" on GSMArena. I mean "compare" in practice. You'll be really surprised if you test these phones in some shady areas. Sometimes you'll be able to make a call with Fisio 825 and the display of Nokia 6610 will not show even the name of your network. That's strange but that's reality. So, I can wait to buy xenium 9@9++.

I own a 9@9, very happy with stand by and features-2 weeks and i DO speak :).
Ppl, this is a business cell, if u want 3 mp3s and a crappy 640x480 digicam go to 7650 or smth, this cell is for ppl who actually use it and don't brag bout their phones...

Where can i buy it, europe that is...?

A question for TOHPATI: in Europe the telephone is not sold. Where you have bought it? Asia? Which country? Can you indicate me an Internet site of your country that sells the phone ? (Bad english... sorry!)

Xenium 9@0++ is created for conversation and it does this function extremely well. Long life battery (mine lasts 16 days), good handsfree, voice dial.
One cons: YOU CAN'T EDIT THE SAVED/UNSENT SMS !!! Arrrgh !

Forgot something, this phone is definitely not for users looking for fun features such as colored pictures, nice ear-pleasing polyphonic ring tones, moving animated colored screen savers, etc.

It's more segmented for serious business users who only requires basic features.

Just bought it a week ago. Battery life is amazing, superb. I first charged it at May 7 and until today, I still have 3 out of 4 bars !

Keypad is improved. Better than 9@9. Sound clarity is good, voice dial recognizes commands with no problem. Ringtone volume is high and good. Vibrate is strong. Chance is you'll have less missed calls than before.

Things I'd recommend to Philips engineer:

                                      1. Add a dialog confirmation whether user really wants to switch off the phone after pressing the red colored tel button. For many phones, this red tel button is used for escaping menus or returning to standby screen if pressed and hold. It takes some times for me to adapt and still inadvertenly switch off the phone.

                                      2. Not everybody uses T9. There's no way to switch off this T9 permanently so everytime you want to send a message, T9 is on by default.

                                      3. Missed calls or incoming messages is displayed with a full screen "(number) Missed Call" or "(number) Messages". If user undeliberately pressed the "C" key, this notifying screen is gone. I'd be pleased to see if there's an indicator on stand-by screen informing user that there's some unseen missed-calls or unread messages.

Those are minors inconveniences though. I'm glad my money is well spent this time.

I'm interest with this model and long stand by, but it still lack of features, please make the new one with more features than i'll buy one.
