Qualcomm roadmap leaked, Krait to arrive starting Q4 2011

06 July, 2011

Qualcomm’s roadmap for 2011/2013 has been leaked, revealing hardware details and approximate release dates of their next-generation Snapdragon chips, codenamed Krait.

Update 07 July: Totally unaware of the Streisand Effect, the Qualcomm legal department requested that we remove the leaked images. The source at the end of this post still has them up. If they take it down too, you can always google them.

First of the block will be the 8960, 8270 and 8260A with LTE, HSPA and HSPA+ connectivity respectively that will start shipping in the last quarter this year.

In Q3 2012, we will see the launch of the low-end 8930 and 8230 with LTE/DC-HSPA+ and HSPA+ support respectively and will have single channel memory and Adreno 305 graphics, which despite the name is weaker than the 225.

Lastly in Q1 2013 we will see 8974 with dual channel memory and Adreno 320 graphics.
