Anonymous, 19 Jul 2019I have question in my mind that, what is the problem on MIU... morePoor optimization, performance, battery, twice as much bugs than other os and ads.
It's possible some devices may be properly optimized, have few bugs but the part about performance and battery is without exception.
Take example of redmi note 7 because it's one of the most popular xiaomi devices. But first, you need to know what to expect from the specs you're getting. Unless you're willing to take someone's word for it, you'll need to do your own research. See devices with same specs without miui and compare them.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 was often mocked by Note 7 users because it has an underclocked SD660. It has no os skin, didn't even have Pie at the time. So it must have poor performance and battery according to miui logic, correct? And for your information, under clocking and over clocking have a huge impact on device's performance. When I say huge, I mean it.
But this device still managed to handle of high graphic settings of pubg. Even during driving, jumping and looking around quickly. Its battery lasts up to 7 hours in those settings.
On the other hand, redmi note 7 would run pubg satisfactory on same graphic settings but nowhere near as good. It would lag when you'd jump, drive, look around, And after an hour or two of playing, it would began heating and soon throttling (kernel restricts cpu/gpu cores frequencies to as low as it needs to in order to avoid damage to components). The 4k battery would last around 4.5 hours. There is probably no phone with 3k battery that doesn't last same amount of time. Right now, most note 7 users play pubg on lowest graphic settings (smooth) in order to get same fps that M2 does in HD/FHD graphics.
You will find this problem with all miui devices. None of them provide the performance and battery standard that their specs are supposed to provide. So how does miui offer better performance or better battery? Max Pro M1 has SD 636. Even that phone gives better performance in pubg than note 7 and its battery lasts up to 8 hours (longest of any device I know), it has no os skin - just stock android on Oreo.
But that comparison probably doesn't help you understand why it's a big deal.
J2 pro 2018 with Android 7.1, snapdragon 425, 2700 mah battery and 1.5 gb of ram can handle pubg on smooth graphics (same settings note 7 users play on, just a few less frames) and battery lasts 4-5 hours (same as note 7). My dad has this phone.
Everyone I tell this to refuses to believe it, because how can such a old os, without os skin, only 1.5 gb of RAM with sd 425 can run pubg at all?
About battery. Battery is truly tested in heavy usage. That's because devices with lower chipset "nm" are much more battery efficient than the old ones. In normal usage, a chipset from 8 years ago can give similar battery timing as the recent ones.
In this case, we're comparing J2 Pro 28nm chipset with Note 7 14nm chipset - Note 7 has 4k battery (vs 2.7k battery). The comparison is so unfair for J2 Pro that it's like an Elephant equipped with canons Vs an ant.
You can compare Nokia 8 vs Pocofone F1 too. F1 has more powerful and battery efficient chipset and bigger battery than Nokia 8, but still Nokia 8 beats it in performance by a huge gap and gives same battery timing in heavy usage. So one thing is clear. These devices are severely under performing - both, in terms of battery and performance and there is a reason behind it. You can do your research and tell me if it's something else.
P.S most xiaomi devices with Type C with quick charge charge about same and sometimes slower than Micro USB with a 10 watt charger.
About Realme 3 Pro. It's a excellent device and I highly recommend it but its battery endurance is same as MIUI devices. Not confirmed yet, but it seems to be same as pocofone f1. It's also prone to scratches so you should get a case and tempered glass when you buy it.

Especially when I've made it so easy for you to look into it. You'd normally need weeks of studying to technically understand what I'm saying.
And If you're hearing all this for the first time, then you've been talking with clueless people that don't even know what to expect from their devices' specs. A common problem with Xiaomi lovers. You don't even know how optimisation work.
I can only guide you - which I tried but you clearly have no interest. It's you that's getting ripped off.
To avoid ending it on a bad note: I wish you a very happy and successful life.

In reality you are the only one that says that. I didn't find anyone other than you that says xiaomi phones performs worse than others.

Anonymous, 18 Jul 20191-what? That's the opposit, Miui has better battery and per... moreHm... You just stated the opposite of everything I've said. But you're terribly wrong from the get go. You need to start from zero and build your opinion all over again with facts. MIUI and all other OS like oppo, vivo, Huawei are bad for performance and battery while MIUI is worst of them all. It's nearly impossible for any OS to offer better performance than Stock and Android One OS. You would easily understand this if you had understanding of how CPU, GPU, RAM, OS, Kernels - in short, your device actually works.
You should put everything I've said to actual testing - everything, and then tell me if you really think I'm wrong. The entire point of mentioning specific device's name was to make it easy for you to improve your knowledge.
I've concrete reasons for everything I've said, as a lot of it has been tested by myself and is also accepted by the majority of the users of all of the devices I've mentioned themselves. Be it redmi note 7 users, note 7 pro users or pocofone f1 users.
Head over to any reviewer section of any website of these devices, be it Gsmarena or any other and you'll find majority of the users saying the same thing about their devices. Only thing they may disagree with is that another device performs better than theirs.

Anonymous, 17 Jul 2019Did you've put a fork in a power socket to know it's danger... more1-what? That's the opposit, Miui has better battery and performance than other phones with same specs thanks to its good optimization just check some gaming and battery life test. Every one agrees that redmi note 7 has better battery life than realme 3 pro even with less efficient chipset. The real issue with miui are bugs. People that hates miui hates it mainly becayse of bugs and looks.
Nokia 8 has terrible battery life and does not perform better than pocofone
Redmi note 7 can handle pubg at fhd with less frame drops than max pro m2 and it can last 6-7hours
Yes,Realme 3 pro has better performance
2-position of fingerprint sensor is personal opinion
3- yes of course more features=better
4-like I said before more features are always better. Ultra wide camera is a nice feature being able to fit more in the frame. Redmi note 7 pro had better camera than realme 3 pro with more dynamic range and richer details with more realistic colors unlike realme's oversaturated ones but realme had a slightly better images at lowlight xiaomi phones have good camera optimization. So I guess that cc9e has also better camera than realme.
5- yeah this is the biggest cons of cc9e 1080p lcd display is better than 720p amoled. But it's still an amoled so it have its advantages like true black color better sunlight legibility and better viewing angles. And having less pixels means better battery life
6-It's not all about charging speed try to imagine that you don't have your charger with you. It would be so hard to find one of your friends that have one. You'll propably stuck with dead battery.
Redmi note 7 takes 2h20min to fully charge
Realme 3 takes 2h50min
Asus zenfone max pro m2 takes 2h50min
But we can't really compare them because of the difference in battery size( realme 3 has clearly an issue with charging)
But here it comes the advantage of type c with redmi you have the option to buy a qc3(comes in box with cc9e) and get faster charging speed 1h50min. But realme 3 pro have the best charging speed(at this price) with only 1h20min. Suggest any other phone than bbk( the company that owns oppo vivo realme and oneplus) that supports fast charging with micro usb.
7- realme has a plastic body which is easier to be bent and scratched in comparaison to xiaomi cc9e. Also even if realme have a gg5 it can be easily scratched. But I always prefer using a case and tempered glass so this isn't a big deal. Xiaomi mi cc9e is splash resustant and has a p2i coating
8- there is nothing wrong with miui's optimization. Mi cc9e should perform slightly better than realme 3 and asus max pro m2 ( the difference in soc is not big)
Realme 3 pro is still the best for gaming at this price
But overall I think that both redmi note 7 pro and realme 3 pro are still the best options at this price.

Anonymous, 17 Jul 2019have you tested cc9e personally?
some pros of it
indispla... moreDid you've put a fork in a power socket to know it's dangerous?
You need to have basic understanding of specs before you can make a pros and cons list like this.
1. MIUI phones always have lower performance and battery than other phones of same specs, and heats up more as well. You can take it as a fact at this point. I've not found a single exception.
- Nokia 8 with SD 835 performs way better than Pocofone F1 with SD 845. Nokia 8 handles Pubg on ultra HD without problem while Pocofone F1 heats up in FHD.
Nokia 8 has 3000 mAh battery, yet it lasts about 5 hours in pubg which is same as pocofone f1 with 4000 mah battery.
- Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 has same chipset as Redmi Note 7, but Pro M2 chipset is even underclocked. Yet, it handles pubg on HD/FHD without a problem while Note 7 users play on Smooth graphics.
It lasts 7+ hours while note 7 lasts 4.5 hours.
2. Position of fingerprint sensor is a personal choice. It's not a pro nor a con.
- On a 6'+ phone, I'd rather it'd be at the back because it's easier to access.
- On a 5' phone, I'd rather it'd be on front or the sides.
3. Yes, infrared port is good to have if anyone is going to use it.
4. Triple camera does not mean it's better than double or even single camera. Gsmarena itself agrees with this. It is just a marketing tactic, along with pop up cameras. Realme 3 Pro has one of the best, if not the best camera in this price range as it is.
Xiaomi cameras are always below their specs standard. Even Redmi Note 7 Pro has better lenses than Realme 3 Pro yet it takes way worst pictures because Xiaomi is Xiaomi. Their software optimisation is horrible. What makes you think that mi cc9e camera will be any better?
We'll need to wait for a proper comparison to know for sure. Till then, make the smart choice of learning from the past and don't trust cc9e for camera.
5. Super AMOLED (fake colours), HD resolution, 286ppi screen
Vs
IPS LCD (realistic colours), FHD, 409ppi screen
This is the actual comparison you're trying to make. I'm honestly surprised you thought it had a better display.
Amoled screen show better black colours while IPS LCD show better white colours, however, amoled screens show unrealistic colours so the display experience is better on IPS LCD. Amoled do have better responsiveness but have you ever seen a IPS LCD with bad screen responsiveness?
And, AMOLED screens are bad for long term use as they develop problems sooner while IPS LCD are more durable.
6. Micro USB vs Typc C.
Of course Realme 3 Pro micro USB is better. Here are some facts for you:
- Xiaomi phones with Type C take more time to charge than phones with Micro USB.
Example:
Note 7 (4k battery), Realme 3 (4.2k), Max Pro M2 (5k battery).
They all take same time to charge when only Note 7 has a Typc C port among all of them. Same is true for Realme 3 Pro and Note 7 Pro without vooc. You can check if it's true for Mi cc9e as well.
- Realme 3 Pro takes 1h 10 min to charge to max with VOOC and only 2h 20 minutes with a 10 watt charger.
- Majority of the world's population uses Micro USB chargers so they're also easier to find.
7. Body.
- Realme 3 Pro is the device that survived drop tests from 10 feet of height without any damage and went on to work fine after being placed in water for 1-2 hours.
- Try that with Mi cc9e and you'll have shattered glass pieces everywhere, its metal frame will be bended permanently which you'll have hammer it back in shape in order to replace its broken screen. Of course water would flood it easily after it. So Realme 3 Pro body is way better for long term use.
- Plastic body is less scratch resistant but much more durable than other body types. That is their only flaw. Rest are advantages: lightweight, more durable, flexible.
8. Your logic in pros us wrong. That proves you don't know anything about specs.
- HD display is a pro for gamers because even if you reduce resolution to qHD (960x540), it doesn't make a big difference in gaming experience and takes load off of GPU which allows it to play games on higer graphic settings.
But since it's a Xiaomi with MIUI, I'm willing to bet its gaming experience can't even beat Realme 3 and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2, both of which have weaker chipset. Let alone Realme 3 Pro which has way better chipset.
- HD resolution on 6' screen means it offers a bad viewing experience in normal usage, like in watching videos, browsing apps and stuff.
