From my opinion Realme 5 Pro is better than Redmi note 8 pro for me as day to day usage having a MIUI which have a chinese UI is hard to use and also the voice talk like google is hard especially if u don't know chinese thats why i prefer Realme 5 Pro even if the processor is mid range.

intehab, 20 Sep 2019Redmi Note 8 is far better. BTW colorOS is pure shitNo!!! You wrong, Colour OS is much better then MIUI because it has no spamy adds.And Realme Community also working on their own os.And i think, Realme 5 Pro is far better then Redmi Note 8 PRO...

I am not agree with the pricing as in China they launch in 10k & in India is 14k .....40% gap on price is cheat with us...plz realme gives more aggressive price in India otherwise.....but still value for money....but we expect more from realme

This seems like a really nice phone and it even has UFS 2.1 storage. I am just a bit worried about ColorOS. What is the development community like on Realme phones? Would there be much support for custom ROMs like LineageOS?

Excellent camera and zoom in daylight. Zoom quality is as good as telephoto camera phones.
But VERY poor camera in medium light (inside house) and at night. The quality drops by 50%.
Without daylight, its camera is as good as Realme 3 (or worse).
