After a year (well almost a year of usage), every new update makes Realme 5 Pro battery life lasts shorter. Back then I had like 9H full SoT, so I only needed to charge once per day. But nowadays, I only have 7H full SoT(even less, it could be just 6H 20M for intense usage).

I'm so lucky.I didn't even experience any issues or whatsoever. This phone is superb.

Its either covered in dust (try to clean it, especially if you use screen protector and phone case, they accumulate dusts in non protected area) or failure in the sensor itself

PoH, 12 Sep 2020I just bought realme 5 pro I want to ask should I just upgr... moreHere is some advice unless u need android 10 features updating is not worth it first of all the first update after stock makes it so laggy and I have heared rumors of the phone bricking after it but it's very rare as long as u don't stay on that version after updating immediately update again the first update sucks so much most things struggle to load after u update to second update startup times are still quite slower I personally regret a bit updating it is worse than stock but android 10 might be worth worse performance if u want here is a comparison of boot times I took before updating
Boot before update: 48 seconds to fully load everything up
Boot after update 1 minute 10 seconds I tested it before update
Amount of app crashes or major lag per a day before update: 1-2
Amount of crashes or major lag per day after update:
2-5 (depends on the apps you use mostly)
I just live with it I am too scared to downgrade and don't think it's worth bricking it I say just stick to stock unless u really need android 10 stick to stock

My phone force updated to C... moreTrust me update it that fixes most lag issues for me but I might not update to android 11 cuz it might make it laggy so update to latest version and see if android 11 lags phone it's still not as good as stock but it's much better than the first android 10 update that had alot bugs and lag

Has anyone updated to C.07 yet? My phone force updated to C.03 and it has not been performing as well as when it had Android 9. The one really good thing is the screen recording, which records internal audio. I guess I want to know if the problems I'm having right now are fixed in C.07.
1) Chrome keeps behaving in weird ways. I sometimes can't tap anything, or use volume buttons. The only 'fix' is restarting the app. This happens multiple times daily. I am considering using Firefox or other browsers instead, but I kinda don't like the ui.
2) Battery drains noticeably faster, tho not by much. I'm glad it at least doesn't heat up whatsoever, even when I play Genshin Impact and other demanding games at highest graphics settings (minus motion blur cuz I don't like it), with Messenger, Chrome, and screen recording going on in the background.
3) There are random frame drops sometimes on apps I use (browsers, games, and digital art apps mostly). I don't really mind these that much, but if it's not normal, maybe it should be addressed.
4) Does screen recording still record internal audio? Because there's no way I'm updating if this got removed in C.07.
5) The voice recorder behaves weirdly sometimes (can't tap; weird audio output), although it hasn't recently happened. Prolly fixed.
Any answers would be much appreciated!

I don't use the camera too much so Idc if the camera sux in C.07

I recently updated mine to Android 10, and my phone keeps on shutting down and stuck on the same screen. It started working after being drained, but it gets stuck and nothing on the screen functions so I keep on restarting it.

Mine is almost a year old and works without problems. I received the upgrade to Android 10 and continues to receive updates.
Negative points: Radio application not available. After an update the radio was unavailable. I emailed support and just received automatic replies. Mine is on Android 10 - RMX1971_11_C.05

Can anyone let me know why is the price of this phone is so high these days in India.
It's even more than the price it was launched in India.
I expect Snapdragon 712 based phones to be below 15K by now with good features & Specifications.

I own both, and Realme 6 is notably bigger and thicker than Realme 5 pro
if price is near identical i would suggest 6, unless u mind size
