Try resetting the system settings first. Then reboot.
Use phone manager and try to optimize phone first.
Use developer options and enable "don't keep activities" and select "0 background processes"
Try to leave 5gb free storage. If all of that doesn't solve lagging, maybe try to completely reset your phone (wipe all data)

I can provide hours of record that any ... moreI believe i can help u but there is a chance this will brick ur phone if not done right realme recently offered an official way to downgrade just remember this could brick ur phone so unless u really need to downgrade dont do it.

I want to downgrade to android 9 or any stable version of Android 10, currently at C59 and its lagging every app I open. it stays blank for hours and automatically resets the phone, I have to manually reset the phone if I want to open an app.

Update to latest and your phone will be very smooth
If you updated to c59 latest update and still say it's lagging, you're most likely trolling or you installed some apps that causes lahging

I just bought realms 5i and have started to update my phone it has got 30% installation...but now I HV read these comments so should I update this phone or not please tell...and if I update my phone today and if update makes my phone laggy can I go and claim my warranty????please help

Anonymous, 06 Nov 2020it's trash, don't buy it. never update your phone... moreThats not true realme makes great phones but thier i series just isn't good my current phone is realme 5 pro the first android 10 update was really bad and slow the second one fixed most problems it got rid of alot of the lag it was still slower than stock but it was good enough definitely not worth risking a downgrade as for realme 5i if ur budget is only that little and u cant afford the realme 5 pro go for redmi note 8 its same cpu but non of these issues the only thing its going to be bad at is updates it will probably be stuck on android 9 for a while.

after the first update, the apps lag after you use it but after numerous updates it operates smoothly, i preffer this phone, if your a gamer not a hardcore this phone can do.....

it's trash, don't buy it. never update your phone or it will reduce its lifespan and just hangs every time ypu open an app. or better to not choose realme.

It doesn't connect with Bluetooth headphones. Has same specs as my old phone,but doesn't connect to same headphones which worked well with old phone.

I have a problem on this device realme 5i. Whenever i am playing like codm, pubgm, wild rift. My phone keeps lagging and there's a sound like echoing like "tooooooooooottttttt". But my internet is always good, it's always 4G. So i really don't know what is the problem. I hope you can do an action on this.
