So guys for long term use what is okay?... Snapdragon 720G or Mediatek G90T. Somesay Mediatek for long term use begins to have a sudden stutter and lags but the snapdragon no one has complain yet. What do you think guys?

If i buy realme 6 today,do I have to upgrade it to smooth the phone or it will be alright to just use it as it is now?

Guys Redmi note 9 or realme 6? Which should I buy? Consider camera and gaming on priority. Which set has better battery timing?

So despite all the bad comments here about heating etc... I still went with Realme 6.
And make note that Realme 6 is cheaper (about $30 less) than the Note 9S. So thats why Realme 6 felt a better choice for me than Note 9S.
Its been 2 days i bought the phone. (4gb 128gb variant) When i first opened and used it, it felt normal yes it was smooth and fine but obviously i thought its a new phone for me so makes sense it will look and feel smooth out of the box. I used it whole day download all the social apps and for sake of testing i downloaded pubg as well. But the second day when i compared it with my friend's Galaxy S9, believe me the difference bw 60hz and 90hz will be immediately noticeable. Yes u do feel the difference only after adapting to 90hz and using it. If u randomly try 90hz while ur main device is 60hz, u will think "meh its nothing".
Here is what i think about:
For only $214, you get an HDR , 90hz display.
HDR videos on YT look stunning. In day time, its better than an AMOLED. but in night time u feel the need of an amoled but it doesnt matter at all. Believe me, amoleds are costly in repairs as well.
Music experience is really great, audio quality is very nice.
The realme UI is good, its simple and without any bloatware.
The cameras are very good considering the price of the phone. The video mode has an ultra steady setting and it works amazing in daylight but average in night time.
Now comes the main part. I played three PUBG matches, battery drop was about 12-14% and i played on smooth + extreme fps settings. Yes the device did get warm in a 1.5 hour pubg session but it was easily bareable. I believe i could have played a couple more matches until it throttled and become hot but health is important, i suggest that a rest in between hour or two hour gaming is very important. Now the charge, its 30w and yes it works just as advertised. From 30% to 84% (54% charge) in just around 33mins. Thats really good number.
I kept my device on charge, had breakfast and it already reached 84% and thats more than enough for whole day if u dont play pubg for 2-3 hours lol.
Overall, a really great phone. I would definitely recommend this anytime to anyone.
(please dont mind my english and my spelling mistakes)

                1. Don't run games or something heavy while on charging.
                2. Give it 10 minutes to cool down after charging.
                3. Turn off Hotspot.
                4. Turn off GPS/Location (during gaming).
                5. Turn off Mobile Data & play games on WiFi.
                6. Turn off Bluetooth.
                7. Use a low watt charger (10-15 watt).
                8. Remove cover while playing games.
                9. Try to find a place where it's not as hot.
                10. Reduce Framerate of games.
                11. Disable background tasks/scans/apps that may be burdening the device.

This phone has a 30 watt charger, so obviously it'll heat up the phone.
The light bulbs in our houses are only 15watt to 25watt, yet no one grabs them with their hand because we know they're hot. We let them cool down first.
                Same logic here.

Beybs, 09 Aug 2020Is heating issue in realme 6 true? What is the peak of the ... moreYes it is, i'm using redmi note 8 pro and realme 6, and when i'm playing pubg in smooth extreme, note 8 pro only reach around 45C, but realme 6 can get extremely hot to 51C and the display get really hot (even my tempered glass was very hot and very hard to touch), if u want to compared it yourself, you can meet me in the real life and try it yourself.

For camera, realme 6 was better in term dynamic range than redmi note 8 pro, but a little shaky hand can make the photo really bad. The detail was same but realme applying very much sharpening (u can test it with adobe photoshop).

For the chipset, i recommend you to get Snapdragon 720G phone, u can see Alvin Tse Twitter (Xiaomi Country Director), he said snapdragon 720G will get smooth extreme in PUBG at the next update, and i already bought redmi note 9 pro yesterday to compare it with 8 pro and realme 6, Snap 720G maybe have less point in antutu benchmark, but the CPU even not throttling, maybe if you can make it throttle the speed was more better than helio g90t (when antutu starting, helio throttling at 60%, but snap 720G said no throttling if u use an apps to see it), even i try 720G and G90T with GFXtool for pubg, after long time playing the game, 720G still consistent at 59 fps and not even heating, while G90T only around 52-55 fps and its very hot.

You can also consider Redmi Note 8 Pro. That phone has better selfie camera & has IR Blaster to control TV AC & stuff.
Realme 6 back camera can capture slightly better details & it also has a bit better gaming performance.

Redmi Note 9s more battery efficient, has IR Blaster & heats less than Realme 6, but both of its cameras and its gaming performance are weaker than Realme 6. It also has IR Blaster.

Its Selfie Camera supports 120FPS video recording, which is rare in this price. Camera comparison actually comes down to which phone has better Gcam available, which is hard to find out.

Generally, I recommend Snapdragon chipsets for Gcam because Mediatek chipsets often face "Viewfinder lag" in Gcam which makes camera experience unpleasant.
Although, that lag doesn't effect picture quality & is not present in video recording.

Helio G90T is a very powerful chipset. It's clearly more powerful than Snapdragon 720G.
But it's built on 12nm. The lower the "nm" of chipset, the less it heats & more battery efficient it is. Ideally, it should have been 10nm or lower so it doesn't heat.

A chipset as powerful as Helio G90T will pull high FPS in games. And high FPS always heats up a device, just a little more in case of Helio G90T.

But unless your device starts lagging after heating (throttling/overheating), heating is not an issue other than being uncomfortable to hold.

                              To answer your question:
Poco M2 Pro has lower performance & weaker cameras than Realme 6, but it's more battery efficient & heats less.

Personally, I would buy Poco M2 Pro if I can find any reliable Gcam/Google Camera app for it. By checking on XDA, Telegram and Facebook Gcam & Poco M2 Pro groups.
