Anonymous, 14 Mar 2020What's the advantage of having navic?Navic (formerly IRNSS) is a regional navigation system developed like GPS and when used in conjunction with GPS on phones it will provide many useful services in India and beyond. See the following reports:
https://www.dqindia.com/isro-navic-indian-smartphones-apart-providing-navigational-services-indian-platform-will-benefit-people/
https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/science/qualcomm-announces-support-for-indias-navic-satellite-navigation-system/articleshow/71577737.cms?from=mdr
There are also several technical papers one can look into to see how Navic is useful in India and surrounding areas.

Realme's CEO in India announced that their phones support Navic including this one (Realme Pro 6) which has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G that officially is Navic enabled. Now their website says that Navic software is not provided with the phone and will be made available later by OTA. Their help lines are also unable to confirm when the update will be available. So it is a waste of money if one intends to purchase the phone for its Navic access. Buyers should be aware of the misleading statements made by Realme by their topmost executives in India regarding Navic system established by ISRO for which Indians are proud of.

Recent Realme phones are unnecessarily heavy

I'm wanna buy a realme phone from an offline retailer, there is no official store in my country, the problem is that I don't know if it's a global version or Chinese with a global rom installed, if it was Chinese with global rom installed , will it receive updates? Do you recommend me go for it or stick with reliable global version from xiaomi ?

Anonymous, 14 Mar 2020Less battery too. Maybe the price is wrong or something.Only the listed Indian price is the correct one. Even then it applies only to the top variant (8/128). The base 6/64 variant for both RN9 Pro Max and realme 6 Pro actually only differs by 200 Rupees.

bobby_gBG, 14 Mar 2020Are they for real? Almost the same phone as Redmi note 9 P... moreThis is why GSMArena shouldn't display ebay prices on a phone that is currently only officially available in India because the prices tend to be inflated significantly and causes some readers like this person to mistake it's actual price. Even the INR price right now only shows the highest variant only.

                  Are they for real?
Almost the same phone as Redmi note 9 Pro Max, yet double the price?

                  They have lost it.

                    Sir plz upload a video

This is literally just worse than the non-Pro model.

Oh my god they pulled a Xiaomi. They went from a G90T to a 720G. They downgraded the performance. WHY? The Pro model should be faster! Just like with Xiaomi the successor should be faster than the previous model!

Seems great value for money but can someone verify if this device has NFC?

If it does not have it, how is it even possible to release a smartphone device without it these days. It's supposed to be "smart" and make everyday life easier which NFC contributes to in many aspects.

Much better choose the Samsung M31 It wins in price and some high spscs like selfie cam, battery mah, super amoled, it has no 90hz but it's still good with it's
                                  6gb /64gb and 128gb Exynos 9611 not bad for it's price

Osman, 12 Mar 2020The price difference is tooo muchPrice or extra features, it's an easy choice to pick.

Actually the RN9 Pro Max costs 15k INR (201 USD) while the 6 Pro at 17k INR (228 USD) both with 6/64 variant, not to much of a difference.

Redmi Note 9 Series Proved to be huge failure against Redmi 6 Series this time...

Realme gives 64MP on both, 30W charging on both, 90Hz displays on both, indisplay cam is also comparatively in better position against ugly center position of Note series, which is more obtrusive to fullscreen vision... Also Realme 6 Pro also give telephone lens which is missing on both Redmi Note phones along with dual selfie cameras which are also absent in note series
