i have receive a new update android 11 this week..just install it..this new update is not stable yet,i notice my phone got minor problem,make my phone slow,got stuck when i scroll photo album in gallery,i cant feel fully exprience 120hz refresh rate like android 10 before..so i used 60hz only...i hope realme fix this with new update soon..

Just received the Android 11 update.
After the installation, the phone is semi-bricked. The screen flashes on and off and I cannot operate it. Phones seems to work as I can hear the notifications sounds and I can answer calls using hands-free headset. Device is pretty useless right now since there is no way to reload it and try to reset it. I have contacted the local service partner hoping to fix it.
To think that I opted not to get a Xiaomi in order to avoid botched update rollouts....

5G not always working !
I have a Realme 7 5G purchased in France. I have a 5G phone plan, live and work near 5G cell towers.
The phone does not display the option to connect to 5G when going in Settings -> Sim Card -> Preferred Networks. I can only choose 4G, 3G or 2G.
Others on Reddit have the same problem on the X50 5G for example
The Realme customer service was useless.
Does someone have the 5G working ?

Can anyone confirm if this phone supports Google AR services? They have an official website that lists ARcore supported devices and Realme 7 is listed there, but I don't know for sure if that is limited to the 4G phone that was previously listed or all versions (5G as well) of this phone. Greatly appreciated

I'm not sure if this applies to other region (my region is Malaysia) you guys can now check the software update setting and go to the trial version, just fill in the aggreement, wait for the approval, and then u will receive the android 11 update. I think thia device is based on Realme V15 cuz they use the model rmx111 too so if v15 gets update and so do 7 5g :).

I have this phone.
1.the placement of the power button and volume buttons are on equal opposite sides from each other. and hitting screenshots is common.
2. Excellent battery life and charging speed.

First impressions, realme 7 5G seems as good as my old Pocophone F1, the UI seems to copy Samsung's a bit but I can get used to it - not sure yet if it is better than MIUI 12 or not. The cameras seem better than Poco F1, but the speaker sound is not as good as Poco F1. I will test the 5G when I get 5G reception for it. I recommend this phone, as the cheapest 5G phone you can get in the UK, I paid £200 for it and it is a good phone.

I just ordered a realme 7 5G do you think it will get Android 11 at some point? And which UK provider does best 5G SIM only deal: Giffgaff, virgin, ee, Vodafone? I use about 2gb of data a month on my phone when not on wi-fi

This is obviously going to be a problem when T-Mobile proceeds with the 3G shutdown as planned. Otherwise it is a great device with specs that are impossible to beat at this price point.

Good phone...connects well to US networks...BUT...EU variant does not work with T-Mobile 5G in US despite having the right bands. Still trying to find a fix :(
If you're satisfied with 4G, it's a great value. But I hate having "5G" on the phone and can't use 5G.
If anyone knows a workaround, I'm listening :)
