Realme V5 5G may launch globally as Realme 7 5G
The Realme 7 series currently consists of the vanilla 7, 7 Pro and 7i. Now it appears a fourth one called Realme 7 5G will soon join the lineup as it has been certified by Thailand's NBTC.
However, the Realme 7 5G won't be an entirely new smartphone. NBTC revealed it sports model designation RMX2111, which was previously associated with the Realme V5 5G that was unveiled in August and is currently only available in China.
The certifying authority doesn't reveal any specs of the Realme 7 5G, but if it is indeed a rebranded V5 5G for the global market, then you can expect it to come with Dimensity 720 SoC, 6.5" FullHD+ 90Hz LCD, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W charging.
The Realme 7 5G will feature a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric authentication and come with a total of five cameras - a 16MP selfie shooter on the front and the 48MP primary camera on the back joined by an 8MP ultrawide and two 2MP units (macro and depth).
There's no word from Realme about the Realme 7 5G yet, but we expect it go official in a month.

where did you get those percentages from? there are less people who wants a huge phone but the bigger the phone the easier to manufacture thus more profitable

You're people that like the small phone need to buy the phone. otherwise, manufacture will see that 90%+ people love big phone, and only 5% love very small phone (less than 5.8"). no manufacture will make unprofitable small phone.

The iPhone 12 and Galaxy S20 are both considerably smaller than all of the 74mm + width phones coming out of Xiaomi and BBK now days.
