I heard it sounds muffled, is that the case on your unit? This was a dealbreaker for me. I had bought Vivo V20 which is pretty much identical in terms of specs, and I'm quite satisfied with this. But still I'm curious if the mics are as bad as some vids on youtube show.

I've had the R7Pro for about a month. Overall a great phone, decently sized. Screen is great, would pick Amoled over LCD with high refresh rate anyday.
Quite light also (phones over 200g are no-go).
No glitches so far, runs smooth. Wifi, data and bluetooth run without issues. Stereo speakers sound ok, nothing spectacular though. With 8gb ram and 128 storage it's pretty much futureproof. Camera is decent on its own, but these days i use Gcam 8.1 port and it's as good as it can be.
Charging is ridiculously fast and i never charge the phone overnight anymore even if it's like 15% full.
Just charge it in the morning for 15-20 minutes and it's full.
The software is ok, settings and adjustments are really plentyfull. It should get A11 in a few weeks, whivh i'm looking forward to.
Basicly it's a crazy good deal of a phone. On a contract it costs even less and i would take this over Xiaomi anyday. Had a lot of these over the years, but this one (and probably the regular 7) is a much bigger bang for the buck (with no ads on top). I would buy it again 4 sure.

Hi I'm thinking of trying realme for my young one (8 yrs old) (currently using Samsung A70) . But I'm choosing between 7pro and X50 5G. Ideal for gaming, netflix, youtube, rarely social media and home base learning. As I'm going to renew his postpaid accout. The options for free hand phones are limited as the rest need to pay a bit extra. Maybe u can suggest me which following (free handset) instead. Realme 7pro, Realme X50 5G, Vivo V17, vivo V19, Nova 7 SE, Vivo Y 1S, Huawei Y6s, oppo A53, Samsung A42, Oppo reno 4 pro, Xiaomi Mi 10T 5G. This are his option (free phone). Thanks

Sent to to Realme twice but they say "no problem". I can't attach a file here else i would upload the sound recording so you can hear the sound issue.

The display is bigger also and the loud speakers are way too loud than 7 pro ..
But with x3 you will get laggy os , occasional hangs and an ips display. .. with realme it's different. . amazing display and smooth os ... Loudspeakers on realme are loud and clear but on x3 they are louder . Camera on 7 pro is way better than X3 then there is superfast charging and not to miss the lightweight of 7 pro ...

Hi all, after using for 3 years my trusty Moto G5 plus decided to purchase 7 pro, UK version, using it for a week now. My first Realme phone, good specs. for a mid ranger, was very excited and it ticks all the right boxes for my daily use but there is one, my opinion major issue and Realme need to address it. All the same apps downloaded to the new phone as I was using in my Moto phone, from day one I have occasional and completely random hang-ups of the phone, it can be any random action, browsing through the settings, opening any random app, once it froze on me even during phone unlock. It becomes completely unusable for about 30 seconds or more, cannot go back or go to the home screen, it just completely locks up. And of course I tried restarting the phone, clearing recent apps, I even re-installed latest build update file from Realme website (RMX2170EU_11_A.26). No difference. It happens every day and it can happen more than once, all random. With much higher specs. than my old Moto phone I did not expect that at all and I think it is not acceptable for this behavior for a brand new phone.
I am thinking of returning the phone unless someone out there has a solution for this, I would really appreciate it as otherwise I like the phone an I would like to keep it. Thanks.

I am using the real me 7 Pro the last 45 days and one of the issue which is not impress me is the fingerprint reaction and in generall how fast i can unlock my screen. Fingerprint is not working the same all the times and bettwen the left and right hand (fingerprint 1 & fingerprint 2) The password require 6 digits which takes time. In this period i receive 3 upgrades for the real me middleware and now i am in RMX2170_11_A_26. Also I can not find so fast the history calls is not in the contact account as a group. You can find history only on a dedicate number which you call from recent numbers. So if the contact has 4 numbers you can not find which one call before x days. Camera is good at resolution but not scoring the best for colors. If real me correct this UI issues will be a good device inder this money.

using this phone for some time now and noticed some screen colour difference at the bottom of the Screen close to navigation buttons. Noticed while i was using it under day light feels some light whitish colour. noticeable while the screen is off.

Realme sells cheaper in india .
The 7 pro in india starts from 20k and the same in GCC starts higher by 4k .
This is the only reason why they lock a device purchased from India in GCC. .
In his case if he has a valid bill the service centre people will unlock the device for him otherwise there is no fix but to send the device back to India and use an India sim card for few days and then bring it in muscat or any other GCC country

The specs on processor are of The a51 n... moreI have the A50 (same CPU/GPU/MEMORY as A51) is a pretty good phone for general usage, nice screen and security updates but the graphics card inside and the cpu are way too old. Luckly it has UFS memory so it makes it seem pretty snappy.
Overall 720g is almost 70% faster in games, so more demanding games will play smoother compared with a50/a51.

Recently i have bought this thru amazon.in and brought to muscat. Today when i inserted my sim and enabled it i am getting this error " You are using a region customized phone.Its communication function is restricted in current region. Please contact realme customer service for support" . Any solutions guys to fix this ? TIA
