If not using dark mode, battery consumption between the two panels should be similar. Screen burns do not usually happen unless your brightness is bumped all the way up and you keep your display on for a long period of time on a static image. I do agree that the price for OLED panels are a bit more expensive, but as a consumer, I would definitely put in the extra money for a better panel.

AMOLED consumes the least amount of power and provides the best quality pictures. Amoled screens have come a long way. It will only burn if you keep a static image for a really long time.
