I am still using this phone and it is working as smooth as it used to work earlier.
EVEN AFTER MORE THAN TWO YEARS OF USAGE :
Great call quality,
Still outstanding battery life. Lasts for at least one and half days,
very light weight
Good camera
Last but not the least great phone with a feature to play YouTube videos in background without the premium subscription of YouTube.

Recently yesterday i got tha f.10 update for my indian realme 8 and it feels much smoother and stable now . Andorid 13 rui4 f.10 update is good 👍

Anonymous, 19 Feb 2024hows the battery life on ui 4.0? idk if i should update or ... moreWith the phone debloated and degoogled with ADBAppControl using a debloat list for RealmeUI, i get about 4 to 5 days of battery life, data and location always on, AOD on, 2 hours phone calls, 1 hour or so browsing. Note that my phone only has google play services, everything else is removed and replaced with alternatives that dont require creepy permissions or send telemetry.

After using 1 year and 6 months, My Honest Opinion is that it's mid, Can't use the floating window while gaming and if i do, It will overheat. 4.5/10. There's better phones that is good.

I have concern about update of realme 8. It have malfunction ok TikTok like playing the video but no sound, after you volume it up the sound will comeback (it always happen when i open my TikTok account). The second is my NOTES are deleted, I have important note there like code in crypto

Low cpu throttling i tested on cpu throttling test and higher score compared to rui 2 and 3, switching to apps are smoother. Overall update is excellent, though the charging speed became slow this is to minimize battery health degrade faster due to heat it produces compared to rui 2 and 3. Rui 2 is hotter when you charge it but faster charging speed.

After todays software update (Android 13 version RMX3085_11_F.07) GPS works fine with my phone.

When I check for updates with wifi it says ''Your network connection is weak. Change network and try again.” But I can use wifi connection without any problem. I can check for updates with 4G without any problem. I am currently using Android 12. Why do you think this happens?
